Dr. Scartozzi has provided outstanding pediatric dental care in New Jersey since 1989! His undergraduate study was at St. Johns University, where he completed and obtained a bachelors degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. He graduated Cum Laude (with honors) in 1984.
His graduate study was completed at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in New York City. He was awarded the Alumni Award for excellence in pedodontics as well as for his work as president of the Psi Omega (Dental Honor Society) fraternity. Afterwards, he completed a one-year post-graduate general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He then completed two years of specialty training at Schneider Childrens Hospital, part of Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Scartozzi has spent many years as staff clinician at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Childrens Specialized Hospital (Mountainside, NJ) and St. Josephs Medical Center (Paterson, NJ). He is still a current member and consultant to St. Josephs Medical Center Craniofacial Center and Team.
Dr. Scartozzi gets involved with the local community by visiting local nurseries and preschools, hosting class trips to his office, and holding talks with the Boy and Girl Scout associations, about achieving and maintaining excellent oral hygiene. He has also served as the chairperson of his countys dental society, and contributes to National Childrens Dental Health Month activities.
Dr. Scartozzi lives in Bergen County, New Jersey with his wife and their three children. They have two dogs, Smokey, a black lab mix, and Pancho, a papillon mix. Dr. Scartozzi has also been very involved with the Boy Scouts of America as a leader at different levels. He enjoys many outdoor events such as camping, hiking, etc., and he has been active with the Haitian Relief, charity concerts and fundraisers both on the local, national and international level.

Our staff is uniquely trained and highly skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our staff consists of team members with specialized training and multiple certifications, and each one of our team members has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Dr. Scartozzi's office is always amazing with my now 4 year old. Bringing a toddler with a complex medical history to the dentist can be difficult for both patient and parent. But Dr. Frank is fantastic and very knowledgeable on how to handle my son. Highly recommend

All three of my kids love and trust Dr Scartozzi. He is the only dentist they felt comfortable with. I know he is one of the best pediatric Dentists, so for me its a good feeling to know my kids are in good hands.
