There are few professions that foster long-term positive relationships between the provider and patient. It is very rewarding to see not only an improvement of my patients smiles but of their self-image as well.
Like many other professions, orthodontics continues to evolve and incorporate new technology. In order to provide my patients with the most efficient, effective, and comfortable treatments, I mustattend continuing education courses constantlyin order to stay current with the new techniques and technology.
I have been practicing orthodontics in Northern Virginia since 1982. Utilizing cutting-edge technology to transform a persons smile into one that is both aesthetic and harmonious is very rewarding to me.
The best part of my job, though, is the personal connection I make with each patient. Orthodontic treatment is an ongoing process during which I form a bond with many of my patients. These relationships often continue long after orthodontic treatments have ended.
I grew up in Baltimore, and have lived in Rockville for the last 20 years. I have three wonderful children named Dorie, Carly, and Garrett. Along with two grandchildren, Charlie and Leo.I enjoy cycling, skiing, working out, and reading.
I also believe it is important to be involved in our community, so Ivolunteer for various local organizations. I havesponsored Wounded Warrior Project and Blue Star Banner familiesfor Fourth of July. I am also involved with the annual candy buy-back program, in which thecandy goesto soldiers in Iraq. I support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as well as giveto help provide Thanksgiving dinners for the needy of Prince William County.
Ive been working at Frank Orthodontics since I was in high school starting as a sterilization technician. I was even a patient of Dr. Franks from a long time ago. I try to travel as much as possible. So far my favorite places have been Hawaii and Ireland!
I am lucky because I get to meet every new patient and family. As I introduce people to the practice and the world of orthodontics, I spend a lot of time chatting with them and learning about their life. Its fun to watch each person become happier and more confident during treatment! After Dr. Frank creates the patients care plan, I review everything with the patient and theparents. By answering their questions, I make sure theyre able to make an informed decision about their new smile!
Im married and have three children, one rescue dog, and one grandson. Outside the office I amvery involved with helping local military families in need. I love to travel and enjoy family outings on our boat.
Its fun to get to know our patients and hear whats happening in their lives. I never know what theyre going to share, but its always interesting! Dr. Frank is an exceptional orthodontist and our team members are my friends: we work great together! I assist the doctor during different procedures. While making sure he has everything he needs, I talk with our patient and keep them updated. My favorite time is when we remove braces and get to see that beautiful new smile!

I got Invisalign which did NOT fully correct the small gap I had in my teeth. I then lost my retainer, paid $300+ to Virginia Braces and Invisalign Center for a new one and the employees ordered it through the wrong system, so over a month later, I still didn't have it. They did not follow up. When I called to ask where it was, they said it was ordered through the wrong system and they would correct it and rush the order and update me by phone (This was on a Thursday). When I didn't hear anything by phone the following week, I called back (Tuesday or Wednesday). The front desk didn't know when my retainer would come in and was condescending, in my opinion, when I asked for more information about when it was even ordered for the second time. I am STILL waiting for my retainer that I paid for, which is supposed to come next week. Instead of remediating their mistakes, they had the audacity to suggest that I go elsewhere for orthodontic service, which I am GLADLY doing at this point, even though I still have yet to receive from them my $300+ replacement retainer. I am posting this review, which its based on my opinion, in the hopes of helping other customers find a good fit for orthodontic treatment. There are SO many orthodontists with 5 star reviews in the NoVA area, it will no issue finding a better one with superior service. A simple Google search for "Best Orthodontist in Northern Virginia" will provide you with a number of options. Good luck!

My sister and I were very hesitant to get braces, and we were very happy; we chose the brackets that are placed behind the teeth, and we were very satisfied with the results; excellent and highly recommended!!!

Since I arrived, they always attended to me with patience and affection; even though I had a previous bad orthodontic treatment elsewhere, they knew how to explain the procedures correctly. I have achieved excellent results, and I am glad I met them. I know I will leave with a beautiful smile. Thanks to the guys who treated me. They are the best!!

We've had a great experience with Dr. Frank. The office is always busy but the team moves like a well-oiled machine to get you in and out. The service has also been incredible thus far. The office staff is friendly and greets their patients by name as you walk through the door. We've had one "emergency" where a tooth was shifting and they saw us on the same day we it in. This is a great practice!
