I was referred to Dr Scarbrough by my dentist to get my wisdom teeth removed. To say I was nervous would be an understatement since I had never needed more than a routine cleaning and a couple of fillings. Dr Scarbrough was quiet but he made sure to clarify my allergy information as well as my prior experiences with pain meds (all negative). His nurse was exemplary. She answered every question I had and didn't make me feel rushed at all. The office staff was friendly and helpful. I was scheduled for the first day I suggested and felt well prepared for it. I was sedated so I don't remember arriving at the office on the day of the surgery but, given how smooth my recovery has been, they did a phenomenal job. My pain was minimal and my recovery has been textbook. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an oral surgeon!

Busy but spaced out on new customers coming in ,very expensive ,nice dentist but never asked if I needed antibiotics for swollen jaw. Need to come up with a large amount of money to cover bills at this place.

In order to schedule an appointment you have give them all of your insurance information and they call you (in my case after more than ONE WEEK) for appointment, if your insurance information is confirmed. WHAT??? So if you are in pain, you can't just go and pay out of pocket? I have never had this happen to me with another medical provider and my own insurance company said that the whole thing sounds shady. It did turn out that i actually COULD pay out of pocket because i was quoted that number, so what was the point of me waiting close to 10 days to get a phone call from your office? Can I remind you that you don't sell carrots at the farmers market? You provide CARE TO PEOPLE IN PAIN. Making them wait a week or more to schedule an appointment is absurd. If this is not enough, to make you look elsewhere, you can add the interaction with the staff. All women I talked to were short, rude and arrogant. Complete lack of friendliness or customer service skills. But the one I want to mention is EVA, who would do this dentist a favor if she looks for another job, because there is nothing worse than creating a bad name/reputation for your employer and driving his potential patients away. Without going into details about my specific circumstances, Eva was not only unhelpful and arrogant, but she was flat out condescending. Eva, please be reminded that you are simply an administrator at a dental office, not an astronaut working for NASA. Know your place, learn basic customer service skills, be friendly, polite and respectful. Gatekeepers are half of the experience at any office. You are an unpleasant one. Doctor, replace your staff with people who drive business in not out.

Had my wisdom teeth removed today by Dr. Scarbrough in Pooler, Ga. I can't express how wonderful he and his staff are and how thankful I am that they took such good care of me. Susan was always so friendly and angel was also as she scheduled everything! The two nurses in the back took excellent care of me and were so so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. I was so nervous about this and y'all made me feel so safe! Thank you!!!

Sought help for my TMJ issues here. They got me in right away which was great. Paid for the consult, filled out the questionnaire, went back for the pano x ray and waited just a second for the doctor. The doctor had great bedside manner and I'm sure would have helped me and my pain but I had some concerns following the consult. I asked for estimated cost when we landed on a procedure and they did not provide one. I asked some follow up questions a few days after the consult and was told to Google it. This is not the level of service I expect from an oral surgeons practice. Even if it's a simple procedure, I don't feel comfortable going in not having any documentation in my hands about risks, side effects, % of patients that have relief after, or basic cost. Was told I would find out cost and sign waiver when I went in for the procedure.
