Wanat D.D.S. Dr. Wanat has been practicing for over 30 years. He takes a gentle approach, easing any concerns or fears you might have by providing valuable patient education. He listens so he can best understand your particular needs. Then, he strives to provide the highest standard of personalized dental care by using skilled training in the latest advances in dental technology.
After graduating from Youngstown State University in History, he went on to extend his education at YSU with a Master's Degree. He served four years, mostly in Germany, as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army. He went on to receive his Doctorate from the Ohio State University, College of Dentistry in Columbus, Ohio. He is an active member of the American Dental Society and the Corydon Palmer Dental Society and is a lieutenant colonel in the Dental Branch of the Ohio Army National Guard.
Amber has been working as Dr. Wanat's hygienist since graduating from Youngstown State University in 2007. You can hear Amber's infectious laugh throughout the office, which helps make patients relax and feel comfortable. Amber spends her free time with her husband and daughter. She loves traveling, cooking and baking.
Brittany also graduated from Youngstown State University in 2007 and began working for Dr. Wanat as a hygienist shortly after. Brittany likes to keep up with continuing education so she can educate her patients on healthier smiles. When she's not cleaning teeth, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also has a passion for crime documentaries. Brittany says if she wasn't a hygienist, she would be a private investigator.
Maria has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 2011 She has been working as Dr. Wanat's dental assistant almost the entire time. Maria graduated from Case Western Reserve's Expanded Function Dental Assistant Program in 2019. This certification allows Maria to perform duties such as place fillings and more. Maria enjoys spending free time with her daughter and husband. She also enjoys hiking and traveling, especially to visit her family back home in the Philippines.
Candace graduated from Youngstown State University in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She spent most of her management career in retail before joining Dr. Wanat's office in 2017. Candace is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM). When not tackling all things administrative in the office, Candace enjoys spending time with her husband, hanging out by the pool, and working out.

Very pleasant people working at this practice. I like that you can fill out forms online that's also nice for updating information, you don't have to re enter everything.

Excellent service, great staff too. Dr. is our new dentist, went in with husband to get cleaning and start our service. Everyone was great, we felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend them.

Staff is amazing. Does great with children. No waiting, professional, & very clean. Been a patient since 2005 and both my kids started out with Dr. Wanat around 2-3 yrs old.

If you need a great dentist then Dr.Frank Want is the one you want. I wished I could still see him but it is my insurance not Dr.Wanat .

Had a chipped tooth, needed to be seen, and I was given a slot in the next few days... Dr. Wanat is a great dentist - his team is efficient and cheerful - it is almost a pleasure to go to the dentist! Quick and painless repair, again! Great as always, visiting Dr. Wanat is a pleasure!

This was my first time going to this dentist. Let me tell you, they are top notch. I have always been good about every 6 months going to the dentist and got super behind this past year. The receptionist was very friendly and got me in right on time. The dental hygienist whom I forget her name (blonde hair) was absolutely incredible. She asked and answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable and gave my teeth a cleaning that I have never got that good before. Dr. Wanat was very kind and thorough. They have gained a new customer. The best part.. still no cavaties at 35 :) Thank you all.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Wanat and all of his staff! They are the nicest, friendliest people you will ever meet. I never feel like just a patient. They always ask about family members. I highly recommend making an appointment and seeing them for your dental needs!!!
