Dr. Benjamin R. FrandsenDr. Ben Frandsen completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University before attending dental school at The Ohio State University, from which he graduated in 2008. He then completed his two-year orthodontic residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He continues his education daily and is constantly learning and taking continuing education courses in order to provide the most up-to-date treatment possible, and he has completed a masters degree in oral biology in addition to a certificate in orthodontics. Dr. Ben has practiced in the Orem area since completing his residency in 2010.
Dr. Bens goal as an orthodontist is to ensure that every person who enters our office leaves knowing that they are important and loved. He wants every single person to have a perfect smile that they love. Dr. Ben is passionate about braces and loves seeing the transformation in his patients smiles and seeing them grow up. He loves interacting with his patients and their families and often jokes that he has the best job in the world because he can tease kids all day long and they can tease him back.
Dr. Ben and his wife, Michelle, have three children and a French Bulldog named Rockwell. Outside of the office, he loves spending time with his family and being outdoors. He can often be found skiing, snowboarding, mountain and road biking, camping, hiking, or boating. Dr. Ben also loves all sports and is a fan of the Utah Jazz, Real Salt Lake and Ohio State.
Gum sculpting is also known as cosmetic gum surgery, crown lengthening and gingivectomy. When you receive gum sculpting, our orthodontist will simply remove a small amount of your gum tissue to reveal more of your tooth structure and give you a more aesthetic and even smile.

Three of our kids have had braces with Dr. Ben. He doesn't just achieve straight teeth, but also focuses on creating a beautiful shape of the mouth. Compared to the other orthodontist we've used in the past, Dr. Frandsen's work is far superior.

Very professional, even when I have dumb questions after hours they would get back to me. I still have a couple questions but they will wait for now. I think that you do braces at my age for a Vanity sort of thing, but why not, I have been complimented more than once, thank you!

Both of my boys have been coming to see Dr. Ben for years. We love the whole crew at the office! Dr. Ben is great to explain everything. Everyone is super friendly. I highly recommend Frandsen Orthodontics to anyone!

Best ortho I have ever experienced. The only place I will recommend for all my family and friends. Personable staff, modern technology, clean and fun environment. They make me feel like family and made me sad to get my braces off because I loved going so much. I nearly cried when I saw my new smile. I couldn't believe it was mine! It was better than I could even imagine! Now, it's been a couple months since I got my braces off and I'm Im awe every time I see it. Thanks Frandsen!! Can't wait to bring my kids!!

DR. BEN is the ORTHO KING! I didn't have a horrible experience when I had braces the first time years ago. I would say it was neutral with that orthodontist. Now, as a dental hygiene student I'm in braces for my second time to fix my bite, etc and I have LOVED it! Braces can have cons but @frandsenortho creates a fun office environment while staying professional. If you want braces, look no further cause this is the place. The entire office is super supportive, Dr. Ben knows his stuff and no one compares to him! He is humble and kind. But, for reals. This is where I plan to send my kids and where I would recommend my friends and family. I've been extremely impressed by the personable staff and every step during the experience. They even dress up for major holidays and have a fun chalk wall!

I love Frandsen Orthodontics. I wanted braces again for a long time and finally decided to get them in my 20s. I was super nervous about it and I had a lot of concerns about my teeth that i hoped to get fixed. they listened to everything i had to say and during my initial appointment and that meant so much to me. i left my first appointment feeling excited to get braces and feel confident about my smile for the first time since i was 15. i've loved my experience with them and highly recommend them.

We absolutely love Frandsen Orthodontics. We would not go anywhere else. They really have the patients best interest at heart. My son took a baseball to the mouth and it knocked his front tooth loose. Dr. Ben immediately met us at the office to stabilize the tooth and try to save it.(our fingers are still crossed for that tooth!) All along the way of my sons treatment, everything is explained thoroughly to me and options are given. We feel comfortable there and we trust them with our smiles!

Dr. Ben is the BEST!! Being an adult who wanted & needed orthodontic work, I shopped around and interviewed several highly rated orthodontists!! I choose him and am SO grateful I did!!! My teeth are no longer an embarrassment, in fact, it's the FIRST thing people comment on that I haven't seen since for a year or two is how GREAT they look!!! Not only is he a skilled orthodontist, but his kind, positive, and fun loving disposition made appointments something I looked forward to!!! His staff is skilled and equally impressive in creating an environment that you look forward to interacting with them as well!! As a result of my experience, both of my teenagers have also gone to him with the same GREAT results!!! I HIGHLY recommend him and his staff!!!!!

Dr Frandsen is the best orthodontist!! He is awesome at explaining things and making the process super smooth. The pricing is great too. We compared with a few places and they were definitely competitive. His staff is super friendly and great to work with. We had so many people recommend this office and we are so glad we gave them a try. We are almost 6 months into braces and looking forward to the rest of the process.

Dr. Frandsen is an exceptional orthodontist and has created an amazing culture at his practice!
