Franconia Dental Care has been our dental care provider for over 15 years. This family/neighborhood oriented practice is modern, well managed and patient-centered. Dr. Kim is highly skilled, professional, friendly and informative. Moreover, clinicians and staff embody the high standards set for the practice. Administrative and business practices, billing and insurances are timely and efficient and their hours of operation will suit a variety of work/school/home schedules that we have found key to accommodating our busy working and personal schedules. I highly recommend Franconia Dental Care and offer my personal endorsement based on the excellent care that we have receive there over the years.

Dr. Kim is a very capable professional I have come to trust over the years, 2017 to present. He resolved an ongoing problem with an implant, my first, that was implaced in 2005 where the abutment screw regularly became loose. Multiple attempts by different dentist to tighten the screw were unsuccessful. Dr. Kim recommended removing and replacing with new implant. He calmly and confidently performed the procedures with complete success. I have since had annual care and other work and I am completely confident in his knowledge and skills. I am a 72, a 35 year retired DOD Civilian and have had dental work performed across the US, in Canal Zone Panama, Mannheim Germany, and Seoul Korea. His has been the best of care. I am a big proponent of implants, the more the better, and sooner than later, dentures if you must, implants if you can. Dr. Kim is the best as are his teams at the Dental Excellence Integrative Center AND Franconia Dental Care.

Most of my teeth got root canal treatments and crowns. Also, I have a bridge connecting 6 teeth and two implants. I know the value of teeth better than anyone else. Dr. Kim knows the condition of my teeth and treated my teeth so that I can use them as much as possible as a natural status. Dr. Kim treated me with 3 crowns and 2 implants. He did the crowns of my teeth without root canals to make my teeth last longer. Anyone who has had a lot of dental treatment knows. How good it is to use my teeth for a long time until I can use them. I am very fortunate to have met such an experienced and skilled dentist in the United States, and I have recommended Dr. Kim to many people around me.

Franconia Dental Care provides excellent service at a reasonable cost. Dr. Kim has almost 35 years of experience as a specialist in dental crowns and implants so right off the bat, I knew he was skilled. He strikes me as highly intelligent and an expert in his field. As important, his care for me as a patient was excellent. Nine months ago I had major tooth pain and found Franconia Dental Care by luck. Dr. Kim carefully listened to my explanation of the pain I was experiencing, took some X-rays, and quickly diagnosed my problem. He was the third dentist I visited for the pain and was the only one who listened to me and developed a reasonable treatment plan. His treatment gave me almost instant relief from what was excruciating pain. He also welcomed my input to the plan and was conscious of the cost, keeping me completely informed throughout treatment. Right away, I got two root canals and then a couple months later, two crowns. The root canals were performed by another superb dentist, Dr. Chung, who has the best bedside manner and patience of any dentist I've been to in 50 years. Dr. Kim brought Dr. Chung in on two Saturdays to perform the root canals. Dr. Kim subsequently prepped my teeth for the crowns and installed and fit them perfectly. Everyone who works at this practice is friendly and welcoming. The dental hygienist, Sue - who also has a gentle touch and has great bedside manner - gives excellent cleanings. My teeth have never looked so good and don't hurt anymore. I wish I would've found this practice a long time ago, but I'm glad I found it now.

Dr. Kim and his staff are an excellent team for dental care. Their expertise and kindness are unmatched, and I am completely satisfied with their service. Dr. Kim explained the pros and cons of treatment options from the patient's viewpoint, and I feel that the procedures were minimally painful. The dental office is nicely organized and clean, and I feel comfortable in there. I have no reservation to recommend Dr. Kim's team to my friends.

I've been going to Dr. Kim for over 10 years. A great staff runs the office well and rarely have I never got in on time which is not the case at most Dr's offices. Dr. Kim and his team are always professional and help to ensure the best care during appointments and gives ample recommendations and guidance to keep teeth clean in between appointments. Highly recommend Dr. Kim's office for your dental needs.

Dr. Kim is an exemplary dentist. I have been going to him for over 10 years. He has always been caring and accommodating. I appreciate the fact that his staff works with me to accommodate my schedule. What I appreciate with Dr. Kim is that he provides thorough explanations for the work that needs to be done and that includes reviewing the xrays and ensuring you understand the procedure to be performed. He has performed implants and made crowns for me and there is minimal pain. Also, whenever he has to numb my mouth, his shots have been painless. He is sensitive to causing the least amount of pain. Also, he is always on time for my appointments. I recommend him to anyone that is looking for an excellent and caring dentist.

My experience we Dr. Joongseo Kim has been excellent. He has been my dentist for more than 10 years and I am totally satisfied. I initially had dentures and he encouraged me to get implants because dentures should be replaced every few years. He also told me that implants will help keep my bone structure and smile. Dr. Kim is very pushy with his treatment plans. He does not care about patient care and is only looking to take the money out of your wallet. He is not kind to his office staff i have seen him yell at his assistant multiple times. unprofesssional and rude.

In 2009, my daughter recommended that I go to see Dr. Joongseo Kim. In the past, I had not had the best dental care and I needed lots of work: cavities, crowns, implants, you name it - I needed it all. Now, I have been his patient for over twelve years! Dr. Kim and his staff are kind and caring, and they know their patients. Dr. Kim takes the time to explain what needs to be done and he follows through with professional care. The bottom line is I have not had any issues with the work that Dr. Kim has performed in the past twelve years! I recommend him to my family and friends especially when they compliment me on my smile.

Dr Kim and his staff act treat you like they really want your business and really care about you! I really like that this is a smaller practice and Dr Kim himself is readily accessible. Dr Kim is a throwback that you unfortunately don't see much anymore - he is a dentist who takes great pride in his profession and for him it isn't all about maximizing profit. He is willing to take the time to explain your options and the work he does is exceptionally well done at a reasonable price. Another important point for me is that his staff are very friendly and cooperative and they look to make things convenient for you both on scheduling and billing. For example, they are willing to take the time to explain to you how they are going to bill insurance and what part you might be responsible for and if there are issues with the insurance company (as there inevitably are) they let you know and explain to you what you have to do. They also willing to work with you on scheduling and are flexible on making appointments during off hours which I have not seen from other dentists around here. I recently moved all of my family's dental care from a much larger practice in the Franconia area because the larger practice wasn't nearly as flexible or responsive as Dr Kim and his staff are. Great experience working with Franconia Dental Care! Highly recommend them!

Dr. Kim has been my dentist since 2010. He placed an implant in an upper molar when another dentist wouldn't attempt it. He is obviously extremely knowledgeable with the myriad facets of dentistry, but I assume implants are his greatest specialty. He is very kind, personable, and patient with his demeanor and his treatment style. All my cleanings and treatments are done in his office in Vienna. He takes extra time for X-rays and to explain and show the patient what problems they have and what his plan is to treat them. I have never had a dentist I've felt more comfortable with, or with whom I had greater trust. He always has very competent staff to assist him, even Mrs. Kim on occasion. Mary, the receptionist, is very kind and personable and goes the extra mile to schedule me at convenient times, as I now have to travel almost 2 hours to the clinic in Vienna.

Franconia Dental Care and Dr. Kim are top notch. I've been going to Dr. Kim now for over 10 years and have had several implants, crowns and fillings. I've always received excellent dentistry and on-time service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about my insurance. Dr. Kim is very skilled, professional, and personable.
