After receiving his BA from Clark University in 1984, Dr. Tutin obtained his DMD from Tufts University School of Dentistry in 1988. Upon graduating, he engaged in private practice while serving as a clinical research instructor at Tufts. Dr. Tutin is active in many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Metropolitan District Dental Society, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Valerie Smith has been practicing periodontics since 2000. Originally from Philadelphia, she earned her BA in Psychology from Temple University. She then relocated to Boston to attend Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine earning her DMD degree in 1997. From there she attended the Medical College of Virginia where she earned her Certificate in Periodontics in 2000. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Smith started her own periodontal practice in Northern Virginia outside Washington DC in 2001. After practicing there for 8 years, she decided to move back to Boston. It was a great move and she now resides in downtown Boston.
Dr. Smith is active in several dental societies, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Massachusetts Periodontal Society.
Dr. Paulina Muller grew up in Massachusetts and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a minor in Anthropology, from Brandeis University in 2008. She went on to graduate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with a D.M.D. in 2012.
Dr. Muller brings her comprehensive dental experience to our practice. She enjoys keeping abreast in the latest dental research and attends numerous continuing education courses. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.
