Dr. Jasmin Eco-Scolaro grew up locally in Glendale Heights and graduated from Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream. Dr. Eco attended Loyola University in Chicago and went on to dental school at the University of Illinois were she obtained her Bachelor of Dental Science and Degree in Dental Surgery in 1996.

Dr. Eco did her post-graduate studies in orthodontics at the United States Dental Institute. She is trained in the advanced orthodontic Damon System and has even attended the Damon International Symposium in Italy in 2008. She stays current with the latest dental procedures through continuing education and her affiliations with professional organizations. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Society.

Dr. Jasmin Eco was appointed to the dental staff at Delnor Hospital in 2011. She also is a volunteer provider at the Tri-City Health Partners Clinic in St. Charles, where she provides free dental care to the underprivileged in the tri-city area. Dr. Eco loves working on kids and provides dental care with a soft, gentle touch.

In 2001, Dr. Jasmin Eco took over Dr. Robert Meyers practice which provided dental care for the Bloomingdale community for over 30 years. I loved that the office was located in a renovated 1950 ranch home in Olde Towne Bloomingdale; and that I was able to provide dentistry to generations of families from grandparents to their grandchildren. When she moved to Geneva in 2006, Dr. Eco decided to open her second dental office in St. Charles to be closer to her family-her husband, Dave, and their two children, Samantha and Santino. I found that Geneva & St.Charles was a wonderful place to raise my children. It is such a nice community with plenty of outdoor activities. When she is not juggling her time between her new dental office and her family; Dr. Eco enjoys outdoor activities, especially rollerblading and biking.

Dr. Ecos other passion is giving back to the community. She is the co-founder and chairman of Mateos Kids. Mateos Kids is a non-for-profit organization that was founded in loving memory of her 5-year-old nephew, Mateo, who was diagnosed with a rare, inoperable brain tumor. The organization raises money to financially aid sick children and their family in the local area. Their goal is to also provide these families emotional support and to keep hope alive.

We are so excited to introduce our newest member of our dental team, Dr. Irbad Chowdhury, specialist in dental implants and surgery. His philosophy is to 'provide cosmetic implant options for missing teeth.' His goal is to provide our patients with a healthy and beautiful smile for life.

Dr. Chowdhury received his dental degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where he continued and completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and Implant Fellowship. Dr. Chowdhury specializes in dental implants. His training includes a DentalUniversity based implant fellowship program which was specific to dental implants only. He is one of the very few graduates of this type of program worldwide. He has also developed an expertise in advanced dentistrywhich has been the focus of his continuing education efforts. After finishing his residency and private practice in Saint Louis, MO, Dr. Chowdhurydecided to make his home here inChicago. A former faculty and Clinical Professor at Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Chowdhury continues to help serve as a mentor and teaches at Midwestern University Dental School as a clinical instructor.

I am a 2007 graduate of the College of DuPage dental hygiene program. With over 15 years of hygiene experience and some prior years of dental assisting, my passion for dental health is never ending. As a longtime member of Dr. Eco's team, my goal is to provide gentle yet effective care to our patients, where they feel educated about their oral health and encourage them to maintain good periodontal health at home. I'm committed to make patients feel at ease in our office, by building confidence, trust and friendship with each one of them. On a personal note, I'm married and have a wonderful son, who is the highlight of my every day. I'm Hungarian. We moved to the United States in 2000, and lived in this area for the last 22 years. Dentistry has been in my life ever since I graduated high school. I studied to be a dental lab technician and worked in that field for a couple years before moving on to dental assisting. Then I continued my education here in the States and received my AAS degree in dental hygiene. With a passion for my profession, I'm happy to be part of a team that shares the same high values and standards in regards to dental care.

I am the newest member of Dr. Eco 's team. . Ever since 8th grade when I won an Outstanding Award on 'The Effects of Acid and Base on Teeth,' I have had a passion in science. My mentor was an endodontist, Dr. Kelly who I worked for as a dental assistant. He inspired me to continue my education and become a dental hygienist. I have been practicing dental hygiene for over 25 years. I received an AAS at the College of DuPage. AASDH and BS with a double major in Marketing at Southern Illinois University. I then decided to take my knowledge overseas and work in Lucerne Switzerland for 8 years. I am married and have 2 children. I love working in the garden, watching movies, watching my son play lacrosse and spending time with my family. I have a passion for my profession to give every patient the best dental care, education and compassion. I look forward to meeting all of you and working with Dr. Eco and her excellent team.

I joined Dr. Eco's team in 2007 at the Bloomingdale office; and now I have the pleasure of working with her and our wonderful staff in St. Charles. I enjoy getting to know all our patients and helping make their dental experience a positive one. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Tom, of over 30 years and reading, baking & spending time with family.

Hello, my name is Anna Bowers and I moved from Southeast Michigan in the fall of 2009. I have 20 years of dental assisting experience; and I am a certified member of the Dental Assisting National Board. I pride myself on helping patients feel at home and comfortable while they are being taken care of in our office. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, politics, walking and jewelry making.
