Dr. Alex Long is excited to join the team at Fox Run Dental! Dr. Long was born and raised near Milwaukee and moved to sunny Arizona to pursue his degree in dental medicine. After college, Dr. Long moved back to Wisconsin to start a career practicing alongside Dr. Wyn Steckbauer at Glacier Dental in Oshkosh, WI. He later became the sole practicing dentist at Willow Cove Dental in Green Bay, WI, which is also locally owned by Dr. Steckbauer.
In late 2019, Dr. Long decided it was time to move south as he never was a fan of the harsh Wisconsin winters. Less than a year later and he's returned! Rejoining a clinical team he's worked with in the past, he's excited to be reunited for a career back in Wisconsin, his forever home.
Dentistry is a passion for Dr. Long and he ensures that each and every patient receives the best dental care available. He is committed to continuing education and strives to take courses throughout the year to improve his skills and expand the services he provides.
When Dr. Long is not at the office, he enjoys traveling just about anywhere even if its for a long weekend. He also loves spending time with his family, attending Wisconsin sporting events and simply being outdoors in his deer stand.
Dr. Wyn Steckbauer is the founder of Glacier Dental, the first office of the RISE Dental Practices' brand. Dr. Steckbauer is committed to lifelong learning and has completed postgraduate training at the esteemed Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry in St. Petersburg, Florida. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001.
With his advanced training in cosmetic, restorative, and laser dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, as well as temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, Dr. Steckbauer is able to work with you on a wide variety of dental concerns, forming a partnership in achieving your optimal oral health. You may receive treatment from Dr. Steckbauer exclusively for wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants or advanced periodontal treatment (LANAP).
Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Steckbauer enjoys spending time with his three children and caring for his hobby farm. His other hobbies include running, fishing, riding horses and a variety of sports. You may also find Dr. Steckbauer at one of our other offices serving patients throughout Wisconsin.
She enjoys educating her patients about treatment in-office and providing tools they can use at home to improve their oral health. In addition she loves building relationships with her patients to provide a positive and unique experience.Her calm, gentle manner and attention to detail is appreciated by patients.
McKenna graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UW- La Crosse then received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from NTC in Wausau, WI.In her free time, she enjoys walking her 2 dogs spending time with her cat and horse. She has been showing horses for 15 years!When not with her animals you'll find her watching Packer games, playing volleyball or boating with her family and friends.
Her passion for oral health runs deep into not only caring for the oral and systemic health of humans, but canines as well. In fact, her dental health career began years ago when caring for and cleaning the teeth of our beloved animals.
Stephanie is a native to the area and her and her husband along with their 2 boys and Great Dane live just down the road in Darboy. When out of the office you'll often find Stephanie, along with her family participating in local events throughout our community and staying active outdoors.
McKinley is an experienced hygiene assistant as well which is unique to the profession in our area. She graduated from Hortonville High School and followed graduation with studies at Weber State University in Utah.
When outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 huskies hiking, going on walks or simply spending time outdoors. When not with her dogs you can usually find her playing sports or playing games with her family!
She says she loves how 'nice and friendly everyone is at Fox Run Dental' and that 'we truly are a team here'. McKinley looks forward to every opportunity she gets to meet someone new and get to know them. You are sure to have a great experience with her at your next visit!
Mandy enjoys spending weekends away with her husband, son and 2 dogs at their seasonal campsite. In addition, they spend a lot of time hiking, fishing and swimming. Fun fact, Mandy loves watching and feeding the birds; she would even laugh and say she 's a self proclaimed 'bird nerd'.
Nikki is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. Born and raised in Wausau, WI Nikki obtained her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Northcentral Technical College. She later moved to the Valley in 2002 and has been here ever since. Nikkis favorite part about working with the team at Fox Run Dental is meeting new people and helping them achieve individualized optimal oral health.
When out of the office, Nikki enjoys being a mom to her 4-year-old golden retriever, Piper, and her 3 grown children. Together, she and her husband Pete enjoy golfing, kayaking, biking, puzzles, travel, and DIY projects.
