Kamy Noruzi, DMDDr. Kamy Noruzi is a Board Certified Periodontist who has been providing cosmetic periodontal and dental implant treatment to patients for almost 30 years. Dr. Noruzi earned his undergraduate degree at Farleigh Dickinson University in 1982 and dental degree at Farleigh Dickinson School of Dental Medicine in 1986. Following dental school Dr. Noruzi completed a general practice residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City, NY. He then completed a post graduate program in Periodontics at the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Dentistry where he later served as an assistant professor of Periodontics.
In 1997, Dr. Noruzi was granted Diplomate status by the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is a periodontist who has successfully completed a rigorous examination process and is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Noruzi is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Illinois State Dental Society, Institute for Dental Implant Awareness, American Dental Association, Fox River Valley Dental Society (Past President) and Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
Kendra Patient Care CoordinatorKendra is a certified medical assistant and a certified coder. She has been a part of our team since April, 2015. Kendra has a medical background in occupational health and orthopaedics. She was an office manager for seven years in the medical field before joining Fox River Periodontics, PC. Kendra makes sure that each patient is treated with compassion, care, and respect. Kendra loves all of the care and compassion in our office. It is a fun and friendly place to work. She truly loves the family feel of the office. Kendra is married with a son and a daughter. In her spare time, Kendra enjoys cooking, reading, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Heather HygienistHeather earned her associates of applied science degree from the College of DuPage. Heather has been a part of our team for almost 12 years. She educates our patients about periodontal health and implant maintenance and helps them feel comfortable when they visit Fox River Periodontics, PC. Heather enjoys that our team are all like family and that she gets to continue her education at our office.
Jen Certified Dental Assistant/Certified Phlebotomy Technician Jen became certified through ECC in 2003 in coronal polishing and sealants. In 2004, she was certified by the Warner Group for four-handed dentistry, sterilization/disinfection, and digital X-rays. In 2001 she earned her certification for CBT operation from Sirona Group. In 2006, Jen went to WCC to become a certified Phlebotomy Technician and took an elective course in medical terminology. She regularly studies with the Levin Group to maintain the standard of care of our patients. Jen has been a member of our team since 2006. Jen is our clinical team leader. She cares for our patients and educates them on the benefits of dental implants and maintaining their periodontal health. Jen helps us stay HIPPA and OSHA compliant. Jen loves that our team is like family.
Jens brother Nick is a patient care technician (PCT) at Central DuPage Hospital (CDH). Her sister-in-law is a nurse at CDH. Jens mom works for a local endodontist. When not in the office, Jen enjoys photography, horseback riding, hiking, exercising, and anything outdoors. Jen loves spending time with her husband, daughter and their two dogs.
Beth Dental AssistantBeth earned her associates degree in early education. She has been a member of our team for eleven years. Beth loves being a part of our team effort to help our patients get the best care that we can give them. She also loves the people she works with. Beth and her husband have two children: Kadie (age 10) and Noah (age 5). When not in the office, Beth loves reading, fitness, and being with her kids.
Laura Public Relations/Marketing CoordinatorLaura graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelors degree in 1998. She double majored in Public Communications & Human Relations and History. Laura was an event planner/fundraiser for political and non-profit organizations for 10 years prior to joining the Fox River Periodontics, PC team. Laura has been a member of our team for eleven years. Laura builds the relationships between general dentists and our office staff, creating open communication between our offices. She also coordinates and promotes all educational programs and social activities for the office. Laura loves that the main focus at Fox River Periodontics, PC is the comfort of the patient. We treat all of our patients like family. Laura is married with two sons and a dog (half shih tzu and half pug). When not in the office, Laura enjoys reading and traveling with her family.

Having a tooth extraction is a traumatic experience, especially when it's your top upper front tooth. I was sent to Dr. Noruzi in a desperate moment, new to the area and in a lot of pain from an old injury that resurfaced a few days before. I informed Dr. Noruzi that I suffer from vertigo and asked that he tip the chair back slowly before working on me. He instantly sighed and mumbled some curt words, then asked sarcastically how I manage to sleep at night. He continued this attitude throughout the process of exacting my tooth...loudly moaning and complaining about how difficult it was for him to perform the surgery because his back was hurting him so badly (due to the fact that he couldn't recline me back as far as he'd like). The complaining lasted the entire 10-15 minutes of the process. He even stopped his work at on point and left the room mumbling of his back pain. I told his assistant that I would be happy to recline more, I just needed to move back slowly. She told him this when he returned but he sighed again and didn't move the chair. For the most part, I understand, that the exaction went as quickly and smoothly as possible. Thank goodness for that! But bedside manner, putting your patient at ease, especially in a situation when your patient is experiencing physical pain and emotional trauma, is just as important. To top it all off, before I left I was informed that I was responsible for paying the full $600.bill upfront, before I left the office that day. At that point, I was told, the ofgice is a 'pay upfront'. I have dental insurance that covers this procedure but they want their $$$ first. That information was never shared with me ahead of time and is one more reason why I will not return to this office nor would I ever recommend.

I intentionally waited for over 2 years following the completion of my dental implants to write this review about my experience with Dr. Noruzi and how my implants have affected me because I wanted to be certain about my review. Simply stated, Dr. Noruzi is a miracle worker, while other periodontists informed me that I did not have enough bone structure, Dr. Noruzi reviewed my situation and devised a plan that addressed my situation. It is 100% life changing. I never notice my implant appliance at all any longer, because it feels like your real teeth. I can't thank Dr. Noruzi and his staff for their care and reliability. The staff at Dr. Noruzi's office is perhaps one of the most professional and knowledgeable groups of people committed to making certain I had the best experience possible. Thank you so much Dr Noruzi, you've literally given me my smile and confidence back! I wish I could give 6 stars

Dr. Noruzi and his entire staff tackled my problem-child teeth extractions with patience, kindness, understanding and humor, but with gentle admonishments also. They truly gave me my smile back!

I'm very pleased with my tissue graft that Dr. Noruzi performed to save my bottom tooth. The entire staff is quite knowledgeable, helpful, & pleasant... I really appreciate everything they have done for me!

Dr. Noruzi put in three dental implant posts in the upper right side of my mouth. The most amazing thing DIDN'T HAPPEN . . . there was no swelling or pain, not on the day of the surgery nor any day after the surgery!!! I was so totally surprised that I called the Dr.'s office the next day to let them know there was no swelling and no pain. Dr. Noruzi uses the state-of-the-art equipment and that makes a huge difference because there is far less trauma to the tissue. In fact, I have to say that it seems there was zero trauma to the tissue! Thanks Dr. Noruzi!!

I met Dr. Noruzi when he first started his practice over 25 years ago. It was so nice to reconnect and discover how successful he has become. This was my first experience with an implant. Dr. Noruzi is so easy to talk to and has a calming nature, which came in handy during the tooth extraction:) The whole experience from start to finish was outstanding. I very highly recommend Dr. Noruzi and count it a blessing that my general dentist referred me to him.

Doctor Noruzi removed a tooth for me last year and I just came back to complete the surgery for a new implant as well as gum grafts. All 3 things went very well. I was comfortable during and after the procedures. Post care instructions were easy to follow and he even sent me home with a gel that helps heal faster. Clean professional office and staff. Everyone was very friendly. Feels good to take care of my teeth. I'm smiling big !

Dr. Noruzi is truly a painless dentist. I have had 5 implants and a recent tooth extraction, all, of which have gone very smoothly and with minimal to no pain. He and his staff are highly professional and caring individuals.
