Dr. Michael Zgoba completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Chicago Campus. He then attended Georgetown University in Washington D.C., where he received his dental degree in 1989. Born and raised in Chicago, he returned to start his practice back in Illinois. He found his dream in Fox River Grove with a family practice that had been providing the community with over thirty years of service. Now twenty five years later, Dr. Zgoba strives to provide his patients with high quality of service and technology, utilizing digital radiography, laser dentistry, computer assisted implant treatment and crown milling technology. He strongly believes in prevention, finding solutions to problems when they are smaller, more affordable and more conservative. However if problems are greater, dental wellness can still be achieved with the advances and technology available in the office. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, American Orthodontic Society, and International Congress of Oral Implantology.
He believes in continuing his education through multiple courses annually and in bringing advanced technology to his practice. For that reason, he has completed his fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Zgoba is also a member of the Cary Grove Chamber of Commerce and for many years donated his time to visit schools in the area to help increase children's awareness of the importance of good dental health. He enjoys working with children and treats patients of all ages, continuing the tradition of a family practice.

Generally there is very little pleasant about being in the dentist's chair. Dr. Zgoba cares deeply about the outcome of any work he performs, short-term and long-term. He is transparent, honest, and educational if provoked, leaving me looking forward to my next visit each time.

Dr. Zgoba is the best Dentist I've ever been to. Had a broken tooth extracted. Prices reasonable and to top it off, he was AMAZING in his bedside manner and very gentle. Shots didn't even hurt! Highly recommend!!!!!

I recently moved, and life has also gotten in the way. I was suddenly in so much pain and I needed to see a dentist fast. Much like most in pain; the dentist proves to be necessary, but kinda scary. You don't get that with Dr. Zgoba. He and his staff have made me feel comfortable every step of the way. After the first visit; I was out of pain. He designed a comprehensive treatment plan for me that works with for me and takes his time to answer every question I have. He knows that I'm a little apprehensive in the chair and he takes his time and does everything very gently. Even though I have a little way to go before my treatment is over; he has won me over. His office is very clean and he has extra air cleaners in place just to be sure. Don't be afraid of the dentist anymore - just go see Dr. Zgoba.

This dentist is horrible!! Do not go there!! He wanted to pull baby teeth out!! RIDICULOUS. He office is dirty!

I had serious anxiety about going to the dentist but FRG Dental makes it easy for me to pursue and maintain my health. My wisdom teeth removal, molar removal and dental implant have all been top notch experiences that make me optimistic about the future of dental technology and care.
