Dr. Fox is a native of Los Angeles, California, and received his undergraduate degree in biology from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. After graduating from BYU, he served three years as a Marine Corps officer at Cherry Point, North Carolina. From there he attended dental school at Georgetown University in Washington DC, where he graduated in 1981. After a four-year stint as a Naval Dental Officer, Dr. Fox set up shop in 1985 here in Burke, VA, where hes remained ever since.
Dr. Fox wholeheartedly believes in maintaining active memberships in numerous professional organizations. He is involved in organizations such as the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the District of Columbia Dental Society, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Northern Virginia Implant Study Club, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the Seattle Study Club, and the World Clinical Laser Institute. Dr. Fox is also a family man who has raised his children in the Burke, VA, community. He and his wife, Cheri, have five children, Larry, Brett, Laura, Jennifer, and Erik, and they are grandparents to 15 grandchildren. The Fox family loves their community, and that is why they have been active in local sports, school, and church functions. For years, Dr. Fox has spent part of his free time coaching and managing youth basketball and baseball teams, which he has been doing since 1985!

Dr. Erik Fox was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and raised in Burke and Clifton, Virginia. After high school, Dr. Fox went to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Poland. Upon his return from the mission, he married his wife, Nichole Jewkes, whom he met in high school. They have three children, Lucile, Neilson, and Lawrence.
Dr. Erik studied biology at Brigham Young University and attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Dr. Ahmed was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia, where he received his bachelors degree with honors, followed by graduating from the New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with distinction. After receiving his D.D.S. degree, Dr. Ahmed became a resident at the Department of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Woodhull Hospital and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. To further refine his professional skills, Dr. Ahmed successfully completed advanced training in Orthodontics, Dental Implants, Oral Surgery, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Endodontics.
Dr. Ahmed takes hundreds of hours of continuing education each year in order to stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends in dental care to provide exceptional treatment. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Ashley joined the practice in January 2015. She attended Arizona State University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Wellness. Knowing she wanted to be in a health profession she went back to school and graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from the School of Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University in 2014. She is also certified and trained in local anesthesia and laser periodontal therapy in accordance to Virginia regulations for dental hygienists. As an active member in the American Dental Hygienists' Association, the Virginia Dental Hygienists' Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Hygienists' Association, and the Virginia Study Club, she stays current on continuing education and hopes in the future to expand her clinical dental hygiene role to include teaching and research.
Ashley is originally from the Outer Banks, North Carolina but relocated to northern Virginia in 2014 after graduation from dental hygiene school and is excited to have joined such a fantastic dental practice. She is married and has three amazing children with whom she enjoys spending her free time taking advantage of all the different activities northern Virginia has to offer.
Xiomara has been creating healthy smiles with team members at Fox Family Dentistry since 2017. From an early age, she aspired to help people attain a quality life through work as a clinician. Now with nearly 19 years of experience in the dental field, she is recognized for her gentle, yet thorough approach with each patient. Xiomara graduated from Northern Virginia Community College and has resided in Virginia for more than 20 years. Her greatest treasures are her husband, two beautiful daughters, and mother who she loves to travel with. Shes also fluent in Spanish and enjoys trying tasty new recipes, including baked goods, to surprise and delight her family.
Megan was born and raised in Virginia and moved to Northern Virginia six years ago. She previously attended Virginia Tech & Virginia Commonwealth University before deciding on a dental profession. Helping patients feel good about their smiles is her favorite part of being a dental hygienist. In her free time, Megan enjoys hiking, exploring new places, going to concerts, and spending time with her husband and dog.
Naida prides herself in her gentle, caring, and sincere approach with her patients. Her primary goal is to provide her patients with the most comfortable dental experience with the best possible quality care.
Naida came to the United States in 2005 with a degree in Commerce, majoring in business administration. Once she realized that dentistry was her true passion, she continued her education by obtaining her certification as a dental assistant, a position she would hold for eight years. Naida then pursued dental hygiene and received her degree from Northern Virginia Community College, Springfield magna cum laude.
Naida is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. She is fluent in both English and Tagalog. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, spending time with her family, and cooking homemade recipes.
After graduating with a degree in Legal Studies from Rowan College and earning a certification in dental assisting, Kara went on to start her career as a Registered, Certified, Expanded functions dental assistant. She worked for eight years throughout the country focusing on public health and pediatrics. Kara wanted to expand her knowledge of dentistry and graduated with honors from Northern Virginia Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. During her time at NOVA, she was presented with the STAR award for academic excellence and leadership and earned the Virginia Dental Hygienists Association Student Award. Kara is also active with the state hygiene association. When not providing stellar patient care, she loves to spend time with her teenage son and dog, trying new recipes, gardening, and finding new hiking trails.
Sade joined the practice in August 2014. She was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. As a child, she loved going to the dentist but never pictured herself working for one. In 2013 Sade attended Everest College and received her diploma in dental assisting. Working as a dental assistant for four years, she decided to transition to front desk receptionist. Soon, Sade would like to further her education and pursue a career as a dental hygienist. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, going for walks, and spending quality time with her two beautiful children, Jayden and Journey.
Jhania is one of the newest members of the Fox Family Dentistry team, joining the practice in March 2020. Jhania was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. She graduated from Falls Church High School and shortly after attended DATS, where she received her certificate in dental assisting. Jhania is fluent in Spanish. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys quality time with her husband and their two wonderful daughters, Alany and Adriana.
Cristina is one of the newest members of our practice. In joining us she brings over 16 years of customer service experience and 4 years in the dentistry field. She was thrilled to join a practice where personal attention and genuine care are always top priorities.
Originally from Argentina, Cristina moved with her family to northern Virginia in 2012 but still roots for her home football team for all the cups. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick, and her two children, Isabella and Owen. When asked why she joined our team, she said, what I enjoy most about dentistry, in general, is the opportunity to provide excellent care, to give the same level of care to my patients as I expect for my loved ones. I get to do that here every day.
Jessica Williams was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. She became interested in the dental field a little while back and decided to get her certificate in dental assisting. She aspires to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family.
Jeanette joined the practice in May of 2017 after relocating to Northern Virginia from Florida. She has been in the dental industry for almost 45 years and thoroughly enjoys working with and getting to know her patients. Jeanette was born in England and moved to the United States in 1976. She is a mother of two adult children and has two grandchildren. Her grandson is proudly serving in the United States Navy and her granddaughter is a freshman in college. In her free time, Jeanette enjoys sewing, gardening, reading and is addicted to the Hallmark Channel.
Kristina Stevenson, originally from North Carolina, is one of Fox Family Dentistry's newest front desk receptionists. Initially, Kristina started her dental career path as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant graduating from Northwest Florida State College in 2013. She continued her education earning her Associate's Degree in Allied Health Science in 2017 becoming a Registered Dental Assistant, and after three additional years became a Certified Dental Assistant. Kristina hopes to one day become a Dental Hygienist and even bigger dreams of becoming a Dentist.

At Fox Family Dentistry, we have taken great strides to ensure you are comfortable while visiting our office. We offer comfortable dental chairs, a homey waiting room, and blankets if youre cold. Also, if you suffer from dental anxiety, we will try to put your mind at ease by offering sedation options that include IV sedation, nitrous oxide, and oral sedation.
