Fowler Dental Clinic (FDC) initially opened in 2009 as a pediatric dental clinic to provide much-needed dental care to low-income area children. FDC operated on a limited basis, as the clinic was primarily volunteer-driven
2020: The COVID-19 pandemic prompted us to close our doors from March to September 2020 as a public safety measure. While this closure was unfortunate, it did allow us time to transition from volunteer staff to full-time staff
2018- 2019: With the help and generosity of our sponsors, we moved to our current facility located at 411 22nd Avenue in Monroe, Wisconsin in 2018 (special thanks to Delta Dental of Wisconsin for making this possible)
2011-2014: Fowler Dental Clinic provided oral screenings to a local Amish Community in collaboration with the Green County Health Department in 2013. In 2012, FDC began offering clinical externship opportunities to Blackhawk Technical College Dental Assisting program students. And in 2011, FDC provided dental examinations for the Early Head Start program

It was a bit bumpy with the office staff at first since I am a Veteran and it is a bit of a different policy. Now that is straightened out it is good. The dental staff is unbelievably sensitive to their patients. I had always been afraid of dentists but not anymore. I had my first cleaning on over 10 years because of previous bad experiences. I was so happy with the care that I got, that I have scheduled my next cleaning for March.

NEVER GOING BACK!! Son's 1st time at Fowler Dental so I asked if I (mom)could go back with him & the hygienist said rudely "hmm whatever." The hygienist told my son to sit in the chair and started asking him questions about his brushing habits and he hesitated for a minute then shook his head yes and she said "so that's a NO." She then shoved the xray instrument in his mouth & when he gagged she laughed & shook her head & shoved it in again with more force & said "C'MON." At that time, I asked for someone else to treat him. She ignored me & shoved the xray piece in again and cut the top of his mouth, he had tears running down his cheeks but just sat still. I told her to stop and she told us to leave! I then told the receptionist what happened & she said that woman is their only hygienist! She didn't wear a name tag. I asked if the dentist could just look at his teeth. The dentist would not see my son without the xrays (I had them faxed from his current dentist). Mind you the dentist was suppose to see him during this appointment & she stated she didn't have any available chairs. I did not see any other patients in the bldg. Parents DO NOT allow this hygienist to harm your child like she did mine, I wish I would have turned around & left as soon as she told me not to come back with my son. I would definitely not recommend Fowler Dental to anyone! Their customer service is terrible!

WOW all I can say is WOW. We took our 10 month old for her first check up and the hygienist and the dentist were AMAZING! Perfect place to take kiddos they're so patient, funny and kind. This mama was so worried and nervous about her baby's first experience and they made a great first impression. They didn't push and they took their TIME! We didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable at all! Happy to refer this Dental Office to anyone in the future!
