Dr. BJ Foust is a family dentist who has been in West Des Moines for twenty one years and practicing gentle dentistry for twenty three years. He enjoys meeting new people and working with them to make their smile healthy and beautiful. He has an exceptional team that will treat patients with the utmost care to make their experience a personal one.
Dr Foust attends Lutheran Church of Hope and is active in their Mens Ministry and Powerlife student ministry. He is married and father to three young men. He spends his free time primarily with his family watching soccer games and walking outside. When time permits he enjoys reading and watching movies.

I was referred for three root canals. Dr. Foust was able to identify exactly which of my teeth needed a root canal. Cut it down from three to one and was extremely professional throughout the entire procedure. I expected a lot of pain, but was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the procedure went. The hygienists were also helpful in recommending the next plan of action for when I go back to my regular dentist in relation to how much my insurance covered. The office staff were courteous and very informative about pricing and provided a detailed treatment plan with prices, etc. If my insurance covered Dr. Foust as a primary care dentist, I would visit this office exclusively. 10/10.

I have been with Foust for a number of years now. He can be a little gruff to his staff sometimes, but I assume he's keeping them to extremely high expectations. His work is superb--he has done a number of fillings and several root canal/crowns on me with no issues. (results of a wild youth..)

Everyone at Foust Family Dental Care was nice and professional. The ladies up front even went out of their way to help me get a dental procedure that I couldn't afford! They really do care and I'd definitely recommend them.

I've switched to Foust last year as I was searching for a new dentist since my long term one retired. I tried a couple of others that felt more like a business factory like and not the family home feel I got used to. Dr. Foust and the staff are so friendly and highly competent. I received a few services inclusive of a new crown. All well done.

I recommend Foust Family Dental Care. Very Professional and Dr Foust is a Great guy. He definitely knows what he's doing, minimum discomfort during my tooth extraction.

Dental Assistant is vey rude! Receptionist very rude!! Dr. Foust is very nice though! Those two will ruin his business. You don't treat people the way those 2 do! Go somewhere where they treat you the same no matter what insurance you have!

The Denter was wonder. Kind and did a great job. I was a little nervous today. My 1st visit. I had a tiny allergy drainage you know makes that bubble of air feeling you got to clear your throat lol. But I was a bit scared a few times. The nurse was so nice. Very sweet and sociable made me feel very comfortable. They did a wonderful job. I had a little pain about 3hrs later. Took Advil and doing good another 6hrs later. Going to go ahead take more Advil. I will most definitely recommend this dentist surgeon for root canals.

Top notch practice. I highly recommend. I've been under Dr. Foust's care for longer than he's had his own office. He and his team has excellent customer service skills. I've felt well cared for. My hygienist, Staci, is super attentive to my comfort. It's always a good thing when you leave an appointment and find yourself saying "Boy, I really love my dentist." If you're looking for dental medical relationship that includes quality care, superb customer service, tech current patient scheduling tools (yes, I appreciate the text messages rather that the robo-phone calls) in-network insurance acceptance (unlike all places in the metro), look no further than Foust Family Dental Care.

Dr Faust is an amazing dentist! Went today with a broken front tooth and walked out an hour later with a perfect tooth! I can't thank him enough!
