Four Rivers Periodontics and Implant Specialists is a practice limited to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, oral medicine, and dental implants. For gum disease, we focus on conservative treatment with regenerative procedures to help regrow lost bone and gum tissue when possible.

In addition to gum disease, our Washington periodontics specialists perform cosmetic procedures such as gum grafting and esthetic crown lengthening. Gum grafting can help cover the root surface that has been exposed by receding gums. These receded areas may be causing sensitivity. Esthetic crown lengthening can help elongate the appearance of teeth for a more esthetic smile.

Dental implants are another way Four Rivers Periodontics and Implant Specialists can help restore the function and esthetics of your smile. We will work closely with your general dentist, using each of our unique skills to achieve the desired outcome.

Dr. Scully is a recognized diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A diplomate is a Periodontist who is certified by the American Board of Periodontology and who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty.

Dr. Scully grew up in the Greater St. Louis area. She attended Rice University in Houston, TX, where she earned her B.S. in Bioengineering. After college, she attended UMKC School of Dentistry where she earned her D.D.S.. Dr. Scully stayed at UMKC to earn her Certificate in Periodontics while also earning her M.S. in Craniofacial Sciences.

Dr. Scully is excited to be back in the St. Louis area and offer her services to Franklin County and the surrounding areas. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Greater St. Louis Dental Society. Dr. Scully is adjunct facultyat the St. Louis Community College Dental Hygiene Program.
