You hear the term dental care often, but you probably havent given much thought to what it means. It is typically used interchangeably with terms such as dentistry or dental treatment. However, in our office we mean dental care very literally. We are a dental practice. We also care and that is what truly sets our office apart.
George P. Moutevelis grew up in Ipswich, MA. As the son of two professional educators, he acquired a love of learning early in life. This, combined with his natural passion for helping others, led him to a career in healthcare. He found his forte in dentistry, a field where human compassion can make a world of difference for the patient.
Dr. Moutevelis began his educational journey at Exeter Academy, graduating when he was 17 years old. He immediately went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree with Special Distinction in Biology from Boston University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then attended University of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine where he earned his DMD degree.
Due to his outstanding academic performance, Dr. Moutevelis was among the ten percent of his graduating class admitted to the General Practice Residency Post Graduate Program with Suburban General Hospital. Just over a year after completing residency, he purchased this practice from a fellow Penn State alumnus, Dr. George Velis.
Of course, Dr. Moutevelis thirst for knowledge didnt stop with the opening of his own practice. In 1989 he earned the designation of Fellow with the AGD (Academy of General Dentistry). The eligibility requirements for this award include hundreds of hours of continuing education and learning advances skills in 16 separate dental disciplines before completing a rigorous exam. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, he went on to earn the highest honor of AGD Master in 2007. This required over 1000 hours of continuing education, including hundreds of hours of hands on training.
His commitment to excellence in dentistry and in customer service has earned the Consumer Research Council of Americas coveted Americas Top Dentists award each consecutive year since 2003. In 2008, Dr. Moutevelis celebrated his 25th anniversary of practicing in Woburn, MA.
Dr. Moutevelis and his wife, Kristin reside in lovely Ipswich, Massachusetts. They are the proud parents of four kids, Alexa, Peter, Olivia, and Michael. When he isnt busy caring for your smile, Dr. Moutevelis enjoys coaching and watching his kids in football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and Lacrosse. He is also an avid skier, boater, political junkie, patriots fan, and unabashed beach-bum.
He completed both his dental school training and periodontal residency at Tufts University School of Dental medicine in Boston and previously graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. degree in Biology. Dr. Govostes is an active member of the ADA and Massachusetts Dental Society. He also is a guest lecturer at the annual Yankee Dental Congress. Dr. Govostes is also committed to volunteer projects, including a dental mission to Quito, Ecuador.
Dr. Govostes is a North Shore native, growing up with his family in Ipswich, MA where he attended Ipswich High school and was a captain of the basketball team. He is active with the Greek Orthodox Church and enjoys his summers boating and the beaches of Cranes and Plum Island.
Dr. Govostes specializes in the treatment of periodontal disease and tooth replacement with dental implants, including single as well as full mouth restorations. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the latest technology and advances in dentisrty, as well as making their experiences as gentle and friendly as possible.
Denise earned her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from Middlesex Community College in 2008 and her Expanded Function Dental Assisting Certificate from Indiana University Dental School in 1999. She brings over 2 decades of varied experience to the office.
Sheena has 9+ years experience in the dental hygiene field. She graduated in 2008 from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences. She has been with our team since 2014. Working together to provide the best possible care for patients is her favorite part about being a member of Four Corners Dental Team.

This is by far the best Dental care I have ever received! Atmosphere is relaxing, professional, snacks and drinks are also available and a great little care present they give you after your first visit! The entire staff knew how to make me feel very comfortable and relaxed!.

I have been a patient at least 25 years and wouldn't consider any other dental practice. They are dedicated from hygienist, to administration, to Dr Moutevelis. I brought my granddaughters for their first dental visits and they are 13 and 16 and would disown me if we ever changed from Four Corners Dental Care. We live in Wilmington and never considered a local or closer dentist!

I love my dentist and all the great people here. If you are not a big fan of going to the dentist this place will change your mind. My teeth are beautiful because I have been to regular cleanings. I followed up if any issues came up and I will never have to wear false teeth!!

Been going there for three years. Really nice, kind, and knowledgeable. My previous dentist told me I needed to go for a cleaning every four months, which the third visit each year always came out of my pocket. Four corners was honest in telling me that was unnecessary. Very upfront letting me know teeth they are watching but not acting on, for a year now, which is great! Overall very pleased with the atmosphere and the service.

He is highly professional, non judgmental and skilled in the wide range of services he provides. He and his offices are calming and he offers every comfort available with a clever menu prominently displayed. His friendly approach filters down to his dental assistants, hygienists and front office staff who couldn't be better at scheduling, greeting patients and getting you in and out. Best Dental Clinic on the Planet not just Kent Washington! No haggle no hassle. All about the patient and how YOU personally feel! I drove from work in Factoria to get here all the while they were closing!!! They waited stayed help me out in an emergency! The entire staff knew how to make me feel very comfortable and relaxed! My Dentist, George Moutevelis is one of the kindest gentleman around! I had a chipped front tooth that needed a bond and his work came out brilliant! Out of all the dentists George has done the best job ever on my smile! He gave me a reason to smile again! His staff is well educated and the teeth cleaning I had done was very detailed and thorough! I will be back for future services!! Thank you all for such compassionate care!
