We have found that its not that hard to have a successful dental practice. But what does that mean? Our staff believes we are successful because we take the time to get to know people. We focus on the person and not only their dental health but their overall health. Our patients respect the fact that were trying to develop a relationship with them. Were all trying to do what we can to keep our patients healthy. We believe we are joining our patients in an effort to help them maintain or improve their health. When we do this on a daily basis, we believe that it is a success.

As dentists, we have to be technically proficient, but the most rewarding part of this practice is the people in the practice who come to work every day and the patients we are here to serve. We believe its important to surround ourselves with the best staff. The staff in our dentists office take amazing care of our patients. They take care of our patients physically and emotionally.

We know your time is important, and so we run on time. We enjoy mutual respect in our practice as our patients are also on time. They are financially responsible, and they commit to completing their dental work. We believe sharing expectations benefits everyone in the relationship. Our patients respect the quality of relationships we are building with them and the quality of care we are providing.

Our belief is that every patient deserves a complete diagnosis. Two of the foundational principles in our practice are educating and informing patients. As a patient, you will find we explain the state of your dental health, how you got where you are, and what possible solutions are available to you. We dont rush decision making. We focus on your most urgent needs while you decide on your final goals for health, function, and aesthetics. And eventually, over time, we help you with decision making and what course of treatment we believe is best for you. Were here to help you through this process.

We have found our patients are comfortable with our co-therapy approach. Our patients decide what they can commit to financially as well as the dentistry that they are capable of caring for. Shelly graduated from dental hygiene school in 1994 and was a dental assistant for 11 1/2 years before that. She likes spending time with her German Shepherd and doing home projects. Shelly enjoys talking to her patients to build relationships with them and helping keep them healthy. Being a team member at foundations of health dental care is exciting to Shelly.

Lori has been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 27 years in private and public dentistry. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Lori joined our practice two years ago. Lori and her husband David have been married 21 years and have two children. She enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends.

Taylor graduated from dental hygiene school in 2015 and had two years of experience prior to that as an assistant. She is caring and compassionate towards her patients and tries to make her time with patients a pleasant experience. She enjoys spending time with her son art Rhyott, working on home projects, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs in Royals during her free time.

Macie has been in the dental field for 10 years and has been in St. Joe since 2001. Macie has been married to her high school sweetheart for 29 years. Her 2 boys have given her 3 grandchildren. Macie likes to fish and hunt and all over Missouri!

Petie has been in dentistry for over 40 years. Shes has experience being an assistant and was the only team member for a dentist in Weston, MO. Shes been married for 19 years. She has has a black lab mix named Harley, and five chickens. She enjoys knitting and does her fair share of home canning from her garden.

Miranda graduated from dental hygiene in 2012. After completing school, Miranda got married three months later, in September 2012. Miranda and her husband have two boys and enjoy camping, kayaking, and hiking together as a family. Miranda loves visiting with her parents and learning about what her parents enjoy doing. She strives to build relationships with patients so that their oral health is a genuine team effort.
