WOW! Hands down the smoothest dental procedure I have received. Dr. Lewis is an expert at his craft. Knowledgeable and Professional. UPDATE: I have had additional procedures with Dr. Lewis to have a re-treatment on a root canal I had done years ago with another provider. I felt compelled to add to this review because of Dr. Lewis' exceptional bedside manner. I have called his office multiple times about my concerns and he has called me back EVERYTIME. Additionally, he took the time to fully diagnose the issue and did not push his services on me. He even stated to me that "the best root canal is no root canal" if it can be helped. Medical professionals like Dr. Lewis are rare and deserve to be recognized.

Dr. Lewis saw me on a Sunday. He LISTENED, took the time to probe me with questions and ultimately decided I did not need the root canal I was referred to him for. He is kind, professional, patient and caring. Hands down, best dentist!!

This review is far from timely, but I think I owe it to Dr. Lewis to add to his wall of positive feedback. I originally visited the office in the spring of '21 when a tooth was bothering me beyond the point of when I could just ignore it any longer. My regular dentist took a look and suggested that I seek out an endodontist. Researching a short list of referrals before expanding the search by scrolling through endless recommendations online was somewhat disheartening, but just as I was about to give up, I stumbled upon Foundation Endo. I checked existing reviews (which this one will likely join) and was grateful to read about the experiences of others who had sat in the chair before me. An appointment was set a week or so out. I arrived with some trepidation when it was time for me to sit in the chair. Dr. Lewis was very personable and after taking the necessary scans, explained the process clearly and patiently. His team also confirmed insurance coverage for the procedure. Upon agreeing to the treatment, local anesthetic was applied, and I grimaced as the chair's angle of attack was decreased. Then...it was over! I was shocked when the chair was returned to the upright position and Dr. Lewis indicated that the treatment had been completed. In total, from start to finish, the process took less than half an hour. All I recalled from prior RCT procedures years ago was a long and painful ordeal that I really would not ever want to go through again. In Dr. Lewis's skilled hands, I didn't feel a thing and was free to go about the rest of my day in record time. Walking out the door, I almost doubted that I had anything done. In the following days, the swelling subsided and it seemed that the issue had been resolved. Fast forward to March of this year... I noticed slight swelling again around the same area. Concerned, I gave Dr. Lewis's office a call and got slotted in for a Friday appointment. I got stuck in traffic en route and received a call from the office as the appointed time drew nearer. Apparently, the office was closing earlier that day and perhaps it would be better to reschedule. After hearing my protests and frustration (at being sandwiched within a sea of other vehicles, while also dealing with unusual swelling of my gums), Dr. Lewis answered the phone and calmly said, "Don't worry. Just get here as soon as you can." When I finally reached the office (maybe 10 minutes late), it appeared that the rest of his staff had gone home for the day, but true to his word, I found Dr. Lewis in the back reviewing something on his computer. He greeted me and I described my latest concerns. Afterwards, he took another scan, evaluated it, and sat down with me to discuss potential options. Dr. Lewis remained patient throughout and I never felt as though he was trying to boot me out the door. Although the prognosis wasn't quite as favorable this time, I nonetheless appreciated Dr. Lewis's willingness to see me as the last appointment of the day and felt reassured that he had done a thorough examination of the affected area. Dr. Lewis also said that since it had been less than a year since my initial treatment, there was no additional charge for this follow up visit. He provided a recommendation for another specialist to help with my situation. TL;DR Dr. Lewis is a rare professional who takes pride in his work and stands behind it. If you have any endodontic concerns, you can't go wrong seeking his expertise. Good luck!

What is worse than a root canal? Having to wait for a root canal when you really need one! When I was in pain and needed a root canal, I called after hours and left a message with the answering service and Dr. Lewis called me that night to set up an appointment early the next morning. After the procedure, he called to check how I was doing. Dr Lewis really cares about his patients and accommodates them as best he can.

Dr. Lewis is absolutely wonderful. I've seen him twice so far. The first time was urgent. He not only responded to me multiple times over the phone, but he prescribed antibiotics and fit me in as quickly as possible. He then followed up that day and the days following. When I was still having some issues (no fault of his own), he called me immediately and again fit me in to correct the issue. Highly recommend!

I went to Dr. Lewis under an emergency situation. The regular endodontist that I usually go to was on vacation. I contacted my primary dentist for help, and he suggested that I go to see Dr. Lewis. My appointment was set up for me before they actually opened the following day. That in itself, spoke volumes to me. Dr. Lewis and the dental assistant were nothing but nice to me from the minute I walked in. He knew exactly what was bothering me, explained the procedure and cost right up front. He sensed my anxiety, and reassured me that I would feel better after the procedure, and not to worry. I found Dr. Lewis to be very knowledgeable, and I knew I was in good hands. The procedure was done very efficiently, and I'm feeling so much better, the very next day. Thanks Dr. Lewis for taking me so quickly, and for your expertise.

Amazing service! Dr. Lewis and his staff specifically Betty were so understanding of my dental fears. He made was so quick and painless. It was such a great experience! I am a nervous wreck with dentists but he took care of me in a very understanding matter. He distracted me and by the time I notice he was done. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you!

Dr. Lewis is amazing. I was in agony from a tooth abscess. He came in to see me on a weekend and took out from his personal time to treat me. He called me on a Saturday night to assess my pain and said it sounds like and emergency and would see me early Sunday morning even though he didn't have office hours. He was very professional. His local anesthestic injection was perfect and I felt no pain. He explained the entire procedure and took necessary 3D scans before, during and after the procedure to ensure he treated all the canals. I can't recommend him enough. I feel so much better. Thank you Dr Lewis!

My dentist referred me to an endodontist because he thought I needed a root canal. Dr. Lewis saw me early on Sunday and quickly figured out what the actual problem was. Dr. Lewis is exceptionally knowledgeable and comptetent and it's reassuring to be treated by him. The office staff is very friendly and on point.

My primary dentist was on vacation. Dr. Lewis took me in for an emergency root canal twenty minutes after I called the office looking for help. Upon arrival, the whole staff was excellent, very polite and personable. They made the unplanned visit a very comfortable experience. Dr. Lewis, a great guy, performed great work, that was efficient and painless. The treatment made me feel absolutely normal again. The entire process was as smooth as it possibly could be with the spur of the moment, emergency visit. I definitely recommend Foundation Endodontics as a go to !

Dr. Lewis is one of the very best; I wen for 2 retreats. He is detail oriented, takes his time, and as an added bonus has great bedside manner. The staff is very welcoming, the office is clean and the equipment is the state of the art. I highly recommend Dr. Lewis.

I came to Dr. Lewis, knowing it was a big ask for two root canals in one appointment, especially with one that was really bad. Not only did he get both root canals done in a single appointment, but he completed both in 40 minutes!! In and out in under an hour and 2 root canals done. Dr. Lewis was very thorough, he made sure I was not in any pain and very comfortable during the procedure. He is incredible!! Highly recommend him!! Second time here since 2015 and his work is nothing less than amazing!
