Our beautiful, modern office is expertly equipped to handle all of your familys general dentistry needs. We use quick, low-radiation digital x-rays, and we also have intra-oral cameras so you can see what we see.
Dr. Imani is a General Dentist graduated from University of California at San Francisco in 1994. She regularly attends seminars and classes keeping up to date with the latest in dental technology and procedure. She is Invisalign Certified and a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Mateo Dental Society. In her spare time she loves being in nature, hiking and traveling with her family. Dr. Imani is also, fluent in Farsi.
Dr. Desai received her DDS degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni school of dentistry in San Francisco. She also has a Masters in Public Health from George Washington University, Milken Institute of Public Health. She is an active member of California Dental Association and American Dental Association. Dr. Desai is committed to providing highest quality care to her patients and help them reach their dental goals. In her free time Dr. Desai likes to cook, travel and hike. She is also fluent in Hindi and Marathi.
Dr. Tang is a general dentist. She obtained her bachelors degree in Molecular Environmental Biology from UC Berkeley in 2013. She then graduated from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2016. Dr. Tang is Invisalign certified and a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Mateo Dental Society. In her free time, she enjoys reading, art projects, and spending time with her family and pets. Dr. Tang is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
Marilou is a Dental Hygienist with over 22 years of experience in the dental field. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan. She served as an honor code Council Representative as well as, a Clinical Student-teacher and a tutor assistant fellow to Dental Hygiene students. Marilou loves to spend quality time with family especially her baby. She enjoys walking her Australian Labradoodle, Zoe.
Janice is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Foothill College in 2019. She is a member of the California Dental Hygiene Association. During her free time, she enjoys learning new recipes, practicing yoga, bike riding, hiking, and running outdoors.

The staff here is amazing. They are always willing to go above and beyond. We have been seeing them for seven years. They are also great with kids.

The staff were welcoming and Dr. Imani has very good technical skills, she did the oral exam comprehensively and explained everything patiently. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a dental place.

Great experience from beginning to end. Warm welcome by the friendly front office staff. First time patient, scheduled a check-up & cleaning. The dental assistant and Dr. Imani were both so great. Pleasant experience. So happy to have found them!

Great experience with Dr. Imani!! I moved to CA from MI worrying about finding a dentist that would treat me like family and Dr. Imani took care of all my needs and concerns. She is very professional, delicate, and attentive to my fussy dental demands. Her staff are very respectful and their appointment system is very professional in considering my busy work schedule. Had an informative and pleasant dental visit today. Sugandha (profound apologies if I have missed the spelling) and Dr. Desai were a smooth and friendly tag team of care for this regular check up. The front office staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful, as usual. Dr. Desai pointed out some areas that we will keep an eye on as I age and Sugandha ensured that I walked out with a clean and polished smile. After this visit, I feel as if I have a good sense of my overall dental health and what I need to do to maintain and/or improve it. This is exactly what I want from a visit to my dentist's office. I strongly recommend Foster City Dental Care.

I have been going to FCDC for several decades and the service and quality of dental care is outstanding and consistent. All the staff are very polite and professional in their duties as well as being very competent at their work. Highly recommended.

Pay attention to your insurance claim. I went there earlier this year for regular teeth cleaning. They purposely broke the cleaning session into 2 visits, and billed twice for teeth cleaning. I only figured out when my new clinic told me that insurance showed I did 2 teeth cleaning already this year!

I've been coming here for many years for dental work and I'm always very happy with their work. Everyone who has cleaned my teeth has been very gentle and all the procedures I've had have been good experiences.

FRAUDS! I went here recently for a check-up and they set me up to take X-Rays, so I asked, "will my insurance cover X-Rays?" And they replied "yes." Fast forward a month, and they mailed me a bill for the X-Rays, stating that my insurance didn't cover it. So I called them, and the woman on the phone was rude and defensive, telling me there's no way they could've known if my insurance would cover it, or not. So I told her, they needed to tell me that, so I could make an informed decision. I told her that if the answer is "we don't know" but they say "yes," that is a lie. It's fraud. They should be responsible for that cost, not me. She hung up on me. They just sent me another bill, letting me know that if I don't pay it, they'll send it to collections. Do yourself a favor and find another - honest - dentist.

I have had a chance to see two of the three dentists of this facility so far. Dr. Liu and Dr. Poulose were both professional and competent in their work. Thank you. Also thank to the dental assistant who was providing care during the work. I will definitely return to this place if any future problems occur and encourage other people to go to this place as well. Christine and Doctor Imani were extremely patient with a difficult client like me. Thank you. Update: It had been Four years that I have been going to Foster City Dental Care and I have met all the staff. They are all professional and extremely friendly. I definitely recommend this office to everyone.

I was 10 minutes late to my cleaning and. X Rays appointment , but spent 5 of those minutes waiting in my car waiting for the text message which never came (covid protocol) When i went upstairs the staff was rude and informed me that they could not do my cleaning anymore. I tried to explain that I had driven all the way from cupertino (an hour drive) and hired childcare to be able to make it in for the cleaning. As a new mom I would not be able to come back for a long time. Staff showed no compassion and was rude. They definitely dont care about their patients. I will not be going back.

I went here after neglecting my tooth health during COVID. I'm sure that they were frustrated with my not coming in sooner but she was kind and gentle. She even got me in (both appointments) so that I would be able to utilize my flex spending.
