Dr. Eric M. Foss is a St. Louis native who attended St. Monica School and DeSmet Jesuit High School in Creve Coeur. For his undergraduate education Dr. Foss attended The Florida State University. Dr. Foss was inducted into the Florida Beta Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta - the pre-health honor society. While attending Florida State University, Dr. Foss worked in a molecular genetics laboratory, leading to the co-authorship of his first publication. Dr. Foss graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2000. Upon graduating, Dr. Foss was hired as a research technician at The Washington University School of Medicine, leading to the co-authorship of his second publication.
Dr. Foss attended The University of Missouri - Kansas City - School of Dentistry. During his general dental training, Dr. Foss received many scholastic accolades including the student achievement award in Endodontics - awarded to him by the American Association of Endodontists, several merit based awards in recognition of his scholastic performance as well as his score on the national board examination. Dr. Foss was also inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the honor dental society. After graduating with honors from his general dental training in 2005, Dr. Foss was accepted into the Endodontic Specialty Training Residency at St. Louis University. Dr. Foss successfully completed his residency along with a Master of Science in Dentistry (Research) - Endodontics degree from St. Louis University in 2007.
Dr. Foss joined St. Louis County Endodontics in 2007, working under Dr. Harvey Lehrer and Dr. Edmond Rainey. Dr. Foss benefited from working with both of these excellent clinicians, each with 30+ years of experience.

Dr Foss comes highly recommended by my periodontist. I've had one successful re-treat root canal with Dr. Foss and will be returning this week for him to look at another tooth.

This endodontist comes highly recommended and rated. He's got a wonderful quiet personality... non rushed. Cares for his patients. Does fabulous work.

Worst receptionist I've talked to in a long time maybe ever. She needs to be fired! Don't recall her name. Dr has dry personality I do not recommend this establishment to anyone

Highly recommend for anyone worth anxiety or fear about fetal procedures. This was my first root canal ever and I was terrified. Dr. Foss and the whole staff put me at ease and made the whole experience one that gave me nothing to fear if I ever have to go through it again.

Dr. Foss was very nice and seems to be very competent. I've had 3 root canals with him and he was great. It's painful for sure but he does everything he can to make things as easy as possible.

I have had some of the most horrifying experiences when it comes to dental procedures which have left me traumatized. That being said, I was referred to Dr. Foss for a root canal and I was extremely nervous. When I walked in I was greated by Rachel who was very kind and explained everything in regards to my insurance. Then I was taken back where Dr. Foss did a few things to make sure which tooth was the cause of the problem. He then numbed me and I really liked that before he started working he did a cold test to make sure I was numb. I was really impressed with how patient he was knowing how frightened I was. He did an amazing job. Highly recommended to anyone with anxiety about dental work.
