Dr. Janell Plocheck grew up in the small community of Crosby outside of Houston. She graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, and completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. After two sub-freezing winters on the shores of Lake Erie, she was eager to return to the Texas sunshine. As luck would have it, the director of her academic program had a Texas connection: One of his favorite students from his years at the University of Maryland was Dr. Bruce Weiner, who had settled in Fort Worth. The teacher connected Dr. Plocheck with Dr. Weiner. She came on board in 2000, and the rest is history.
Dr. Plocheck currently is the immediate past-president of the SouthWestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, an eight-state regional affiliate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is board certified, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. For the past eight years, she has served as a Board Examiner. In addition, she is a past-director of the Fort Worth District Dental Society.
Dr. Plocheck has been active in the Junior League of Fort Worth for many years and served on its Mayfest committee. In 2016 she received a Junior League of Fort Worth Sustainer Spotlight. An avid gardener, her home in the TCU area has received the Yard of the Month award.

Apparently up until now, I just found out that they're OUT OF NETWORK for ALL Dental Insurances. I wonder why they haven't patterned for discount with anyone yet? If you're looking for a discount this may not be the right Dentistry for your Kids.

My kids had been going here for over 13 years and absolutely loved everyone who worked in the back. The dentists were great and so were the hygienists always so friendly. However the front office team was always rude. It got worse over the years. I hated calling to schedule appointments with them because it was as if you are bugging them. It's a shame that they are the face of it and do such a disservice for the dentists and people in the back. Finally had the last straw with them and switched dentists. I will take my business where I am valued as a customer and treated with respect and dignity.

My children were patients here for the better part of 9 yrs. Giving 3 stars because for much of that time they were great. However in the past few years the customer service and care I had come to love has faltered. Last straw was not making COVID visit expectations clear before our visit. Mainly the fact that parents were not being allowed to go back with their children for services. I understand that this is the norm in some offices, but one of the reasons I chose this office is because this is not my preference. I expressed my concern, canceled our appointments and haven't heard back since. We have since found a new pedi dentist & are very happy with how our visits have been handled during the pandemic.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS ANYWHERE ELSE!!! The whole staff is the best with you and your kid. My little girl is 7 now and has been goin here since she's had teeth. Never once has she been scared or not wanted to go. Had a cap put on at 4yrs and 3 fillings at 6. Didn't feel anything.

We love Dr. West!! He is very gentle and patient with the children. Speaks in a calming manner that keeps my kiddos relaxed and not anxious. His staff is very friendly and helpful as well!

Half the price of cash visits without insurance than all the places in Burleson, better reviews, and visit was amazing. Walked in for appointment and quick initial check-in with picture of my son. Seen right away, toys in dental area, great friendly dentist, left picking out a goodie toy and animal balloon. And then front desk handed my son a certificate for his first visit which included his picture. You can't ask for a better experience.

Seen right away, toys in dental area, great friendly dentist, left picking out a goodie toy and animal balloon. And then front desk handed my son a certificate for his first visit which included his picture. You can't ask for a better experience.

Who ever thought a 2 year old would LOVE going to the dentist! Well, my daughter loves going here. They do so much to make her so comfortable. They give sound advice without being condescending. She gets a balloon animal of her choice on the way out.
