I like the challenge of being a specialist: learning from my patients to know what works for them, and developing the best possible plan to give kids the best care. Dr. Ludwig looks to provide personalized care to children, teens, and those with special healthcare needs. He dedicates every single day to meeting his patients needs on every level, and giving the best advice to parents to move their children towards health.
A lifelong Hoosier, Dr. Ludwig completed his undergraduate studies at Notre Dame, his dental training at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, and his pediatric residency at Riley Hospital for Children, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Ludwig is a published author in the Journal of the American Dental Association. He served as a part-time faculty member of the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he continues to provide a lecture each year for the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Ludwig resides in Fort Wayne with his wife Julianne and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys chasing his kids around, running, and being his wifes sous chef. Most importantly, he focuses on being the best dad and husband that he can be.

I am extremely impresses with all of the Staff. They are friendly, informative, and were so good with my child and explaining things in "kid" terms to help ease the work she needed to have done. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

So glad I found them! It's not easy finding a provider who accepts state insurance & has openings. This place was very nice & clean; kind staff. My 2 & 3 year old did great, and enjoyed it; at that! Thorough, knowledgeable, highly recommend.

My insurance changed and when I asked if it was still in network to the front desk they said yes. Well got a bill later as it was out of network and now being charged more than what the insurance would have paid and on the hook for all of it. While the care was good, I would not have gone there if I had known they were out of network.

We were scheduled the following day, we were in and out quickly. Dental plan was made and there were no tears from my child!

Dr. Ludwig & his staff are AMAZING w/ little ones and I'm blown away by how flawlessly my 6-yr-old daughter's filling went today! They are patient, kind, and use all the right verbiage which made this procedure such a positive experience for her. My kids LOVE the dentist now! So glad we made the switch.

Had an AWESOME experience with my kiddos! First Dentist appointment and they did GREAT! Very nice and patient with the kids, explained everything in detail, and made it fun with Disney movies and jokes! Kids were scared going but they left smiling

I love taking my kids to Doctor Ludwig's office, they're all so friendly, helpful, and they make the kids feel so safe. My daughter was terrified of the dentist after her first experience before Dr. Ludwig, but he's definitely turned that around! It's so rare to find a good dentist that accepts Medicaid, 10/10 recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Kevin and their staff are so good with my nervous little one. They make her feel comfortable and safe. Love how they explained what they are doing to the kid and future concerns (ortho, etc.)

I took my 2 year old to his first appt back in June and I was a little nervous because I wasn't sure what to expect. But all of the staff were very friendly. I was so relieved when they told me the issues my 2 year old has wasn't my fault. They didn't try to shame me. It was the most positive experience I have had with a pediatric dentist.
