Dr. Lugakingira a.k.a The Implant Doctor, a.k.a Dr. Luga is originally from Tanzania, East Africa. His undergraduate majors were Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Advanced Mathematics. He earned his DDS degree from the University of Dar-es-salaam in 1999, and his DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004, both with honors. His academic career was distinguished by numerous awards and honors. He earned his M.S degree and Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011. In addition to maxillofacial surgery his surgical training included rotations in anesthesia, internal medicine, trauma, plastic surgery, and a general surgery internship. Dr. Lugakingira prides himself on giving focused attention to all his patients needs, and as he would say; I will never recommend a surgical procedure to any patient that I wouldnt perform on myself or a close family member.

Dr. Lugakingira has been listed by USA Top Dentists Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 2013. An honor voted for by his peers. He is an active member of numerous state, national, and international professional organizations (see full resume for details). He has authored and co-authored in several publications. He has participated and presented at annual conferences including the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), the Chicago Dental Society (CDS) Midwinter Meeting, and the Isaac Knap District Dental Society (IKDDS) in Fort Wayne. He is a founding member of the Summit City Study Club in Fort Wayne.

Dr. Lugakingira brings current, cutting edge surgical techniques with unsurpassed care to all our patients. He is a full scope oral and maxillofacial surgeon with special interests in Teeth extractions with immediate implants placement, VSP CT-guided Orthognathic (Jaw) surgery, CT-guided implants placement,and Immediate or early loading on dental implants. He performs advanced bone grafting and ridge augmentation with ridge splits, rhBMP-2, sinus lifts, benign pathology resections and jaw reconstruction. He also enjoys performing routine oral surgery procedures including teeth extractions, removal of impacted wisdom teeth, exposure and bonding, and biopsies, all these under general anesthesia / IV sedation. He maintains full admitting hospital privileges and covers facial trauma and infection calls with all the major hospitals in Fort Wayne; Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC), Parkview Randalia, Lutheran, Dupont, and St. Joseph hospitals.

Mulokozi and his wife, Kos, have a home in Fort Wayne, and are proud parents of two sons, Sean and Eric, and daughter Mya. He enjoys working out, soccer, movies, and world news. In fulfilling their long awaited dream and goal, in 2015 Mulokozi and wife Kos finally began a non for profit organization, Kagera Advancement Inc. It is a 501 (c)(3) public charity that has been organized under the Indiana state law. Its main purpose is to help advance education and healthcare in Katale Village in Tanzania.

Dr. Treasure attended his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, followed by 4 years of Dental School training. After graduation, Dr. Treasure attended Medical School at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, graduating in 1993. Dr. Treasure subsequently completed his General Surgery Internship and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Residency training at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in 1996. Dr. Treasure was Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1998.

Dr. Treasure has over 30 years experience in dental, medical and surgical practice, including over 10 years experience as a full-time academic faculty surgeon at the University of Texas School of Dentistry and Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Treasure has over a dozen publications in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed chapters to contemporary oral surgery textbooks. Dr. Treasure served 3 years as an Editorial Board member for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and multiple awards winning peer reviewer (AAOMS Top Reviewer 2013 and 2015) for manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Treasure professional interests include providing safe outpatient anesthesia for oral surgery, dental implants, jaw reconstruction and soft-tissue surgery for dental implants and safe treatment of the medically compromised dental patient.

I haveworked in the oral surgery field since 1984. I enjoy the flexibility and variety that my position offers. I am the office manager. I coordinate and schedule all hospital major surgeries, and insurance preauthorization for all of our major surgeries. I am married and in my spare time; my husband and I enjoy biking and spending time with our family and grandchildren.

Koss career in dentistry started with the front office and later advanced to head Pediatric dental assistant in the operating room. She is currently responsible for public relations, marketing, and promotion at Fort Wayne Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Center. She enjoys working with the entire staff and doctors. Kos was raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She and Dr. Lugakingira are parents of three children.

Of the many tasks she has, Kos is an active member of Alliance of the Isaac Knapp District Dental Society in Fort Wayne and served as the President in 2015-2016. She is currently a member of its board of directors. She is also a board member of the Alliance of the Indiana Dental Association (IDA). She is also very involved with the Indiana Organ Donors Network and facilitates to organize its annual 5K. She is on the committee for Cinderella Dress Day with the Fort Wayne Medical Society Alliance. Kos received the ADA Beulah K. Spencer award in 2016 for Distinguished Service. As the Alliance president Kos was able to organize a mixer between the Dental and Medical Society Alliance, first in over 40 years.

I have been working in the oral surgery field since 1988 as a dental receptionist and insurance coordinator. I feel very blessed to be working with Dr. Lugakingira and Dr. Awah because of their personal touch and quality of care. I am very thankful to be part of a team that treats patients with kindness and respect. I enjoy working with people and especially have a passion to ensure everyone receives their maximum insurance benefit. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our grandchildren, family, and friends.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. I am new to the oral surgery field, but have hit the ground running. I changed career paths to learn new things. Fort Wayne Oral Surgery is a wonderful place to work; the staff and doctors are amazing. I am a wife and a mother of two. In any free time, I enjoy exercising and cooking.

I have worked in the dental field for 3 years and currently hold a health insurance license. Transitioning from general dentistry to oral surgery has been a rewarding experience. Working with Dr. Luga and Dr. Awah has allowed me to recognize the great patient care and personal touch that can exist in a specialized field. We treat all patients like life long friends. Personally, I was born in Europe and moved to the United States when I was 10 years old. I grew up in Florida and am now married. I enjoy spending time with my family, running, and photography.

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that I wanted to work helping people feel better. And we do exactly that. For that reason, I am so grateful I have that opportunity everyday working in oral surgery. I am one of the dental surgical assistants and have a background in surgery, having graduated from the Surgical Technology Program at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan in 2000. Soon after graduation, I chose to specialize in oral surgery because I felt that I had the chance to really have personal contact with patients, which complemented well my previous hospital experience. Working with the team always motivates me to strive for the utmost in our patient care and be most up to date on oral surgery advances in technology to give our patients the highest quality of care. On a personal note, I am married and have a young son. When I do have spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, listening to music, staying active with Zumba, and watching movies.

I have been in the dental field since 2012 when I graduated from IPFW as a Certified Dental Assistant. I am DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination) certified. I enjoy what I do. The new team that I joined in December 2016 is fun and thorough. I am a member of DANB and ADA. My favorite part of my job is the variety of procedures we perform. In my spare time I enjoy working out and spending time with my family.

I always knew I wanted to work in the oral surgery field ever since I graduated from IPFW as a Certified Denal Assistant and earning my EFDA in 2016. I love the challenge as well as the reward that goes along with working in oral surgery, and I love making our patients feel right at home in our office. In addition to being a surgical assistant, I also help with answering phones and scheduling patients. In my free time I enjoy riding my horse, being outdoors, baking, spending quality time with my family and friends. I grew up in Fort Wayne, graduated from Blackhawk Christian School, and then graduated from Dental Assisting, IPFW. I worked in oral surgery for a few years and then worked many years in orthodontics. While I loved ortho, I have come back to oral surgery for the fast pace and daily variety you find in oral surgery. I am married and have two beautiful daughters. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, relaxing at the beach, watching movies, and reading.

I graduated with a BS from Ball State University in May of 2019. I have worked in the healthcare field for just over 2 years, but am new to oral surgery. I enjoy the patient interaction this field offers.

I have been in the dental field since 2016 and in oral surgery since 2018. I enjoy the fast pace and the variety of procedures we do here in the office. I am originally from Hawaii but am enjoying my new life here in Fort Wayne. In my free time I enjoy being outside and spending time with my family.

I have been in the oral surgery field for 10+ years. I started out in the sunny state of California obtaining my dental assisting diploma from Galen College. We later moved to Missouri (Go Tigers) and I worked as the Implant Coordinator Surgical Assistant. My passion has always been to help others.
