Originally founded in 1969, Fort Washington Dental Associates has been providing quality care in Washington Heights for several decades. Since its founding, many dentists have called this practice home and today we continue to care for their patients and generations to come. High quality patient-centric care is the core of our practice philosophy. We believe in using the latest techniques and collaborating with top doctors and dental technicians to provide the best outcomes for our patients. Every person is different and we believe in taking the time to get to know our patients and help them reach their individual goals. It is this approach that has allowed us to continue to provide our patients with optimal care for many years.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Victor Lee grew up on the lower east side. He completed his dental training at Columbia University while receiving his masters in Dental Education at Teachers College. He stayed at Columbia University to complete his training in Prosthodontics. Dr. Lee takes pride in his hands-on approach with patient care and takes the time to make sure his patients understand their treatment every step of the way.
Outside of the office, Dr. Lee serves as the Head of Clinical Innovations at KELLS, a company focused on bringing AI technology into the dental space. His hobbies include dragon boat racing in which he represented Team USA in 2013. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, camping and trying new food with his wife and daughter.
Dr. Annie Cho is originally from Long Island and now lives in New York City with her husband and daughter. She received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, and went on to complete her General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital on Long Island.
As a general dentist, Dr. Chos goal is to put her patients first. She makes sure that anyone who sits in her chair is well-informed about their treatment options and their oral health. In her free time, Dr. Cho enjoys baking, trying new NYC restaurants (all carbs welcome!), and crafting.
Dr. Joseph C. De Lisi is a second generation dentist, with his father and Dr. Frank Mellana establishing this practice in 1969. He attended Muhlenberg College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in 1977. He received his DDS degree in 1981 from Columbia University, and has practiced at this location since then.
Dr. De Lisi taught at Columbia Universitys Dental School from September 1981 until January 2019, serving in both the Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry departments. He is a fellow of the New York Academy of Dentistry and tests dental products for the Clinicians Report.
Dr. Saltzburg grew up in Elizabeth, NJ. He attended college at the University of Maryland, College Park and then dental school at Columbia University where he completed his DDS degree in 2015. Dr. Saltzburg continued his training at Columbia University in the specialty field of Periodontics and completed his residency in 2018.Dr. Saltzburg is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and Northeastern Society of Periodontists.
Danni graduated from Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She started working at Fort Washington Dental Associates in 1998. Danni has been teaching as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at New York University College of Dentistrys Dental Hygiene Department since 2001. She has been an Instructor in the Continuing Education Department at New York City College of Technologys Dental Assisting Program since 2006. She is an American Heart Association Training Center Faculty and the Founder/Director of Creative Dental Connections LLC. Currently, she is the Oral Health Evaluator for a NIH sponsored study titled Care Partner Assisted Intervention to Improve Oral Health for Individuals with Mild Dementia. Danni received a fellowship in Clinical Practice-Orofacial Myology/TMD. She is also the Administrative Assistant for the American Academy of dental Hygiene Inc.
Shaniqua has been with the office for over ten years. She first joined as a dental assistant but has since learned how to run the front office operations. With her unique experience in the front and back office, she has been the perfect person to coordinate care with patients, family members, and our team. Shaniqua is currently working on getting her Masters in Public Health. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her two amazing daughters.
Cathy has been a part of our team for almost a decade. Originally from Trinidad, she now live with her husband in Brooklyn. Cathy tries to ensure that our patients have a seamless experience from their first phone call with us to the moment they check out. Her goal is to make sure their visit with us is as pleasant as possible. She firmly believes that a relaxed and happy patient can enjoy their visit to the dental office and she is happy to see them return to our office.

Dr Lee and his staff are amazing!! He gave my mom more than a entire new smile, he restored her spark for life. A beautiful smile and functional teeth are important even for the elderly. The entire staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable and satisfied with your care. I promise you will be grateful you found this dental practice!

Dr. Lee and his entire staff/office is absolutely wonderful. I was very hesitant about going to any dentist and decided to come here due to the raving reviews. & I am so glad that I did. The reviews are all 100000% correct. This is a phenomenal dentist office. The entire staff is friendly, calming, and informative. Dr. Lee was so nice to hear all of my questions, tell me where I am at and where do we go from here. Dr. Lee and then entire staff makes everything feel human (which is important because we sometimes mess up) For anyone hesitant like I was, due to a history of poor oral hygiene: It's okay if we lagged a bit for our oral hygiene. Just get yourself in that chair with Dr. Lee. It's never too late. With that being said, I am sold on this office and will be my permanent dentist office. Thanks to everyone at Fort Washington Dental Associates!

I've been going to this dental office for almost 5 years now and they're honestly the best one I've been to put of the almost 10 different ones I've tried. Dr.Lee is the best dentist he really connects with you on a personal level while still keeping it 100% professional. The staff are mainly all kind and with good spirits. They are very accommodating and understanding and I recommend 100%

Our first time there, great experience! The staffs are super friendly, helpful and efficient. No waiting time and excellent communication on all levels. Dr. Lee is outstanding. He is thorough when explaining procedures. He is knowledgeable, professional, patient, and willing to answer any questions I had. Already scheduled for our next visit.

I went for a consultation and Dr Lee was so nice and knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me in detail did not rush into the conversation. I wish I could had found him before I made the mistake of my life and got treated by another Dentist.

Dr. Lee is incredibly kind, compassionate and professional. He takes the time to explain the situation, he answers any questions thoroughly and patiently, and he takes great care when performing procedures. I remember being so impressed on one particular occasion when Dr. Lee came and knelt beside an elderly patient and spoke with her at length until any questions she had were fully addressed. It is clearly evident how much Dr. Lee cares for his patients and how much he takes pride in his work. I highly recommend Dr. Lee, as he is, without a doubt, the best dentist I have ever had.

My visit today with Dr. Cho was awesome. My dental hygienist was without discomfort or anxiety . She was very pleasant, explained everything she was doing before start and informed me when to expect some discomfort even though i did not feel any discomfort at all. She is great. The rest of the staff are so friendly, accommodating and helpful. They real people old fashioned in Modern day dentist office. They or text to remind me of my upcoming appointment even though I changed my appointment date due to conflict in my schedule. They were able to offer me another within a short time. I will definitely recommend Fort Washington Dental associates. They have some cool doctors especially my Dr Cho. She is cool and great at what she does and explained things well to my satisfaction

This is the dental office that has been providing care for my mom for the past couple years. They have been extraordinarily patient with her and have seen her through the process of getting dentures made and adjusted. They listened to her concerns and provided her with the care that met her goals. Dr. Lee has been extremely helpful, kind, and patient even when my mom has had anxiety about her dental issues. They even helped me get a referral for a root canal in NYC when I was in town visiting, and followed up afterwards!

Dr.Lee is perhaps the most caring dentist I have met. He took the time to explain what's going on in my teeth, showed me the x-rays and pictures to clarify the reasons for the treatments. The rest of the staffs are also very nice. Overall experience is excellent!

I am so happy I found this dental office. After moving to NY a couple years ago I struggled to find a dental office I liked. Fort Washington Dental Associates has the best service of any dental office I have been to. The staff is friendly and professional.
