Dr. Hekmatyar received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Cincinnati.In 1993 he graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Hekmatyar completed general practice dental residency at the Veterans Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Hekmatyar has been in practice for 28 years. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hekmatyar enjoys spending time with his wife Sherry and their son, Alex.
Our Staff Hygienist, Raymie, received her degree in dental hygiene from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. She also earned an associate degree in Natural Resources and a Bachelors degree in Biology from Lake Superior State University. Raymie has been practicing dental hygiene with our office for 15 years. Hygienist, Megan, received her degree in dental hygiene from the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash. While there, she served as the president of her dental hygiene class. She has also volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul Open School where she provided patients with oral cancer screenings and oral hygiene education. One of her favorite volunteer opportunities was at UCBA in the UC Smiles program, where she provided school-aged children with proper dental treatment and patient education to fit their needs. Megan has been practicing dental hygiene with our office for 3 years. Raymie and Megan are members of the American Dental Hygiene Association. As active members of the community, they have volunteered their time providing dental care and helping educate those in need the importance of dental hygiene. They are known for providing patients with personal and gentle care. Raymie and Megan are committed to helping patients obtain their best oral hygiene possible through education and prevention with an emphasis on home care. Our chairside assistants Lisa and Tina have been trained in all aspects of dentistry. They always strive to make patients comfortable and to have a pleasant dental experience. They provide personal care to suit each patients needs. Our friendly front office staff, Krista, and Kim are always available to assist patients with treatment planning and financing needs. They have many years of experience in the dental field and are dedicated to providing patients with excellent customer service and maximizing the use of their dental benefits.

Amazing Dentist and staff! Always an honest guy that is not afraid to save you money when something isn't absolutely necessary. Always remembers your name and details about you. I highly recommend this place!

Our whole family loves Dr. Hekmatyar and his friendly staff. They are sweet with our kids and make it an easy experience with cartoons and lots of smiles and encouragement.

Great staff top to bottom. Bedside manner from the hygienist to Dr Hekmatyar is five Star All The Way. They are attentive, listen, give the opportunity to ask during every visit.

I have been going here for 12 years and can't say enough about them ! Everyone is so friendly from Kim at the front desk , Megan the hygienist, and Dr. Hekmatyar . He is always so kind and is very thorough when it comes to my dental care . Love this place and the people !

A very frustrating experience as a first time client, I will not be returning. I chose this dentist after reading the great reviews and was excited to have a new dentist locally. The Dr did not listen to anything I had to say and made me feel very uncomfortable. After leaving here I called a different dentist to get a second opinion and it turns out the lack of attentiveness of care caused me to get unnecessary X-rays done-- exposing me to more radiation than necessary and costing me more money than necessary.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Hekmatyar for 20 years now and would never go any place else. He is professional, compassionate, has a great sense of humor and makes you feel at ease . His hygienist Megan is thorough , gentle and does a fantastic job, and all of the staff in the office are a pleasure to work with. Thank You for all that you do !!!

My wife and I have been using Doctor Hekmatyar for our family dentist since moving to Northern Ky in 1995, and we certainly appreciate his professionalism, his knowledge in dentistry, and his entire staff! They all rock! I have an appointment coming up soon and I honestly am looking forward to going..... now I know that sounds crazy, but it's the truth! Thank you doctor and your entire staff.....

Very rude doctor and staff. I don't recommend. He makes you feel bad for not being able to afford services. When I call the office they slam the phone down and don't even act like they want to be there.. I'm not sure what i've done to get such treatment from a 4.9 rated office.
