Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Every person on staff here has been welcoming, warm, and friendly. As a person that has struggled with dental anxiety in the past, I can honestly say that I feel so comfortable and welcomed every time I come to Fort Mill Smiles. My care team ensures that I understand my dental health and the processes we undergo and are patient with my questions. I'll never forget being nervous my first visit and sweet assistant Luna bringing me a stuffed animal to hold onto for support. Little acts of kindness like that make my day every time I come in and I'd highly recommend this office to anyone and everyone.

I went to this place two separate times. Be wary when it cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars coming here it is a big come on. I will start out with the positives. The dentist is a good guy great to talk to and the hygienist. She is very pleasant but the manager, or whoever sits at the front desk is another story. I want to start out by saying I've never even had a cavity in my life and I'm in my mid 30s I go to this place the first time cost me $800 and they are telling me that my son then needs all of his dental work that he clearly does not need. The next time I go back, I get bait and switched I went in for a regular cleaning visit that is covered under my plan she proceeds to tell me that I need a specific cleaning, and that she will definitely not offer the basic cleaning that is covered by my insurance. I will have to pay extra because of "gum disease". Mind you I had a full $700 cleaning seven months before this. I explained to her that she cannot deny a regular cleaning as it's part of my policy and it's not her choice to decide what cleaning I need. she was fine with losing two customers over charging an extra fee. be aware of this place they will upcharge you like no other. Unless they are charging you, they are going to refuse to do any type of work even though I've been to the dentist regularly for the last 34 years I've never had issues like I have had it this place BUYER BEWARE UPCHARGE UPCHARGE UPCHARGE

I had such a great experience at Fort Mill Smiles. I went in for a cleaning but realized I also had a small cavity. They were able to do my filling the same day! The team was knowledgeable, explained every step as they were doing it, and I experienced zero pain. I'm proud to say I have found my new dentist office and I will definitely be referring my family and friends.

Doctor and staff are both amazing. I highly recommend this practice ! The office runs on time and they do a great job at explaining any procedures so there aren't any surprises at the time of a visit.

I love seeing Dr Golden. He's gentle, proactive and not bad on the eyes! Chuck is great, he manages the practice and has always been more than helpful. My insurance changes frequently because I'm a travel nurse, they always help me change things over to the new insurance. I know it gets old! I love the assistants and the dental hygienist Micah, is amazing. Took her time and sensed I was uncomfortable and gave me some numbing cream. I can't recommend this practice enough! If i could give 10 stars i would. The staff here is phenomenal. The office manager Chuck made everything easy and explained all options thoroughly. Dr. Henk was exceptional as well. Nothing but great things to say about this establishment.

Have ever heard anyone say they love going to the dentist? Well, I love going to Fort Mill Smiles Dentistry. They have a youthful, hip and happy vibe. Also, incredibly soft blankets for those of us who like to curl.up and go to sleep while having dental work. Yep, that's how gentle they are, you can actually fall.asleep in the chair.

What a wonderful experience! I feel cared for, my teeth are perfectly clean, Every single person in this practice made me feel like a super star. I'm usually cold in a dentist office, I was offered a blanket when the dental assistant and hygienist walked in. Dr Henk is very professional and made me feel like a real person and cared about me as a person; and I did not feel like a number. Excellent care and even a hook where I could hang my purse and have a cup of coffee! Thank you, I am definitely referring all my friends.

Had a wonderful experience at this location. The entire staff was very accommodating. Chuck, the office manager made scheduling and selecting the most affordable treatment plans so easy. He gave comprehensive details so that I knew exactly what I was paying for. Micah, the hygienist was amazing! She got my deep cleaning done quickly and really catered to my pain levels.

I needed to find a new dentist because my dentist stopped taking my insurance. I checked online and very fortunate to find Fort Mill Smiles. A great experience. Office manager Chuck was very friendly and accommodating. Melanie at front desk helped me fill out forms and was very helpful. Office has new state of the art equipment and very clean. X-Ray tech Jazzmyn was very helpful and patient with me as I couldn't move around very good because of recent back surgery. Hygienist Micah was excellent,did a thorough cleaning and flossing. Last but not least Dr Golden. He was very thorough and professional and explained what I needed done. He did a crown on one of my top teeth. He is truly Golden. I have been to several dentist in my life time and he is the best. Thx so much Dr Golden. I will definitely recommend you and your office.

If you're black don't go here!! If they think you're a white person over the phone they will be completely nice to you!! However once they find out that that you're black its another story and they treat you like you don't matter!
