Maykel A Sierra DDS is a graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan and holds his Biomedical Sciences Degree with a minor in Biophysics from University of South Florida. After 4 years in Michigan, he decided to relocate back to Florida to be close to family.
Maykel has been married to his wife, Idalisa, for 12 years and has three active boys ages 4, 6, and 9. When he is not working, he enjoys playing and watching sports, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
Kacie has been a Dental Hygienist since 1989. She has been at Fort Meade Dental for twenty-four years. She married her husband in 1990 and his name is Phil. They have two sonsnamed Josh and Jake. She loves taking care of the wonderful patients here in Fort Meade.
Jennifer Helms was raised in Fort Meade, Florida. She did a full internship here at Fort Meade Dental and has been with us since she graduated dental assisting school at Traviss Career College in June of 2016. She enjoys being outdoors and close to family.
Jessica Helms has lived in Fort Meade her entire life. She received the opportunity to work in the dental field in 2017and I is excited for what the future holds for her with this career path. She enjoys the close knit community of Fort Meade and looks forward to continue her work here in the Fort Meade community.

The team at Fort Meade Dentist is absolutely phenomenal! To say I have an extreme phobia of the dentist is an understatement! Yet, everyone at this office was very nice, understanding, accommodating, gentle and kind. The dentist, Dr. Sierra and his entire team were professional and compassionate when examining and providing care. They provided me with solutions by priority and never once did I feel ashamed or pressured. They explained very well what was going on the entire time. Extra special thanks to Jennifer for the amazing advice to go here and always being so positive during my consultation and to Kacie for the phenomenal job of cleaning my teeth!

Very pleased with my experience at Fort Meade Dental! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially since recently leaving the Pyle Dental Center in Wauchula. I am very excited to be a patient of Dr. Sierra's. He is very competent and up to date with his knowledge.

I just had a root canal done. I was in serious pain. Dr. Sierra and his staff are beyond wonderful! They made the whole experience so easy and helped me! It's a clean and friendly office and Dr. S and staff handled the procedure incredibly well!! So glad I found them!

The staff is absolutely amazing! They are all so welcoming, friendly, have the best customer service and they make your experience worry free. I used to hate to go to the dentist, but Dr Sierra and the staff calmed all my fears for sure. I would not want to go anywhere else!!

Dr. Sierra and his entire staff are the best!! I've always been terrified at dental appointments but his assistants help calm you, to the point to where you don't dread your next visit. 5 stars isn't enough for this crew.... They exceed 5 stars!!!

I must confess, I am a rare breed. I appreciate a good dental cleaning. So at a dentist the hygienist is very important to me. I found one of the best at Fort Meade Dental.

Dr. Sierra and his staff provide excellent customer service. They are compassionate, professional and immediately put me at ease. I am always nervous when I go to a dentist but Dr. Sierra and his staff calmed my fears. I would absolutely recommend this dentist 100%!

I highly recommend Fort Meade Dental they go above and beyond to help out their patients I had a terrible toothache last week and their office was closed but I'm so thankful for doctor Sierra I could get a hold of in emergency cases like mine he called in an anabiotic that really helped my toothache last week until I got seen today and I'm so thankful for him And his friendly staff that go above and beyond thank you guys!

I would like to say that I give Fort Meade Dental 5 stars and a Thumbs up for taking care of my dental needs and Most Recently thankful for them taking care of my sons bad toothache he had last week.The office was closed During spring break so I reached out to some of the staff on Facebook messenger and I must say Jennifer and Jessica are awesome and responded so quick they told me that Dr. Sierra had an on call emergency way of getting a hold of him I'm these cases And I messaged Dr. Sierra explained to him the situation about my son as a worried mother and he called some anabiotics for him till we get seen next week.Thank you so much for everything Dr Sierra,Jennifer & Jessica!
