Dr. Roland Hernandez was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He attended the University of California in San Francisco and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Concurrently, Dr. Hernandez was the student body president of the International Dentist Program.
His committed involvement with several professional organizations includes the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fort Lauderdale Dental Study Club, Seattle Study Club, and Fort Lauderdale Surgical Society. He is also chief of the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Broward Health Hospital, a level one trauma center.
Dr. Hernandez has worked in a multi-group practice where he has gained his expertise in the field of contemporary oral and maxillofacial surgery. Now, he is very happy being in a boutique office setting where he continues to help build a practice based on his personal assurance that each patient is treated with the highest level of professionalism, respect and kindness, just as he would expect for himself and his family. It is this idea that exemplifies the mission statement of this practice. He gains immense satisfaction knowing he helps his patients regain their personal health while improving their quality of life. He is always striving to achieve excellence in providing compassionate care and delivering an optimal outcome to each and every patient who enters his office.
I have worked in the medical field for over 10 years making me more than qualified to help patients with treatment plans, insurance benefits and surgical coordination. I had a wonderful experience at this facility. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by very professional staff persons who made me feel welcome. On day of procedure I was made completely comfortable and Dr Hernandez is the best in the business. I highly recommend this practice 100 percent!!

Went for all 4 wisdom teeth removal. Was done in an hour. Overall great experience. Great customer service, the ladies at the front desk and the other doctors/nurses were wonderful and the surgeon Dr. Hernandez was very confident, professional, and personable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Hernandez and his staff, especially Amanda, are excellent. I had my wisdom teeth removed, and throughout the process he addressed all of my questions and concerns with patience and kindness. Amanda, his assistant, was extremely personable and skilled. The surgery went well, and overall the experience was fantastic. I highly recommend Dr. Hernandez!

I recently had oral surgery with Dr. Roland Hernandez. The surgery went extremely well and he (and his staff) were excellent. Appointments were always on time, everyone was very courteous and attentive. Dr. Hernandez explained the procedure and what I could expect very clearly and set my mind at ease. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a procedure necessitating oral surgery. My experience was excellent.

Practice is awesome! They were fast and efficient. I did have a little hiccup prior the visit but they resolved it before I went to a different practice. Dr. Hernandez is very professional and explains everything patient needs to know .

My dentist referred to Dr. Roland Hernandez as a trusted colleague who gave great surgical results. That meant a lot that he was held at such good esteem. Dr. Roland Hernandez OMS office had a great organizational standard coordinating scheduled appointments through Emails, text messages and phone calls which indicated my case was a priority. He reached out the next day after my surgery to ensure my well being and result. He also carefully detailed a long term plan to maintain the proper health of my gums and mouth.

As a recently retired oral surgeon myself I am a very apprehensive patient. Hate needles and pain. I had 4 teeth removed with 4 implants all done 2 visits. Have to say in 30 plus years of practicing experience Dr Hernandez is very calm, soothing and painless. In addition he did an excellent job placing the implants. I can say to anyone needing oral surgery Dr Hernandez is your go to doctor and you won't be disappointed. Great job.

I had my bottom wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Hernandez last week and had no issues whatsoever. I didn't want to be put all the way under so they used a light sedation and I didn't feel a thing. No need for prescription painkillers either. The practice called several times during the first week post-op to check up on me and I went in for a complimentary appointment on day 7. 5-star service would definitely recommend.
