Dr. Kerrigan is a member of the American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association. She also served as a committee member for the American Student Dental Association and attended multiple conferences at the district level where they advocated for current dental issues and set policies. During her four years of Dental School, she served as a student ambassador, assisting student tours and answering questions for prospective students. She also participated in the Give Kids a Smile program that provides free dental care to kids in need.
'I spent the summer before dental school on a dental mission trip to Panama. This mission not only reinforced my career choice, but it also opened my eyes to learn first-hand how many people in other parts of the world do not have the same opportunities for maintaining oral health. I look forward to incorporating volunteerism into my dental practice both here in the United States and overseas. I have seen firsthand how dental professionals can positively impact a communitywhen they combine their efforts to improve the quality of life for people who would otherwise have no recourse to proper dental care and I want this office to join in that truly noble pursuit.'
Dr. Kerrigan grew up in Virginia and moved to Florida to attend college at the University of West Florida. During her undergraduate years, she studied abroad in New Zealand and this ignited her love for traveling. Dr. Kerrigan has traveled to over 30 countries and tries to visit a new country whenever she can. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, trying new restaurants and catching up on her favorite shows.
