When you visit our facility, you are greeted by our friendly receptionist in our comfortable waiting area. Our entire staff is dedicated to making you as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Jeffrey M. Gallisdorfer is a native of Buffalo, New York. He is a 1978 graduate of the University of North Carolina with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. He received his D.D.S. Degree in 1982 from the Medical College of Virginia, and completed a two year residency in dentistry at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in 1984. He has practiced in Winston-Salem since that time. He is married to the former Sherry Davis of Asheville. They have two grown sons and are members of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
Charlotte C. Broughton received her B.A. in education from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1994. After teaching for one year she returned to Chapel Hill to get her D.D.S. Degree. She has practiced in Chapel Hill, Durham and Winston-Salem for more than ten years. Charlotte is married to David, who is an attorney with Womble, Bond, Dickinson, LLP. They have three children and attend St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Dr. Corbin is an alumna of Mt. Tabor High School and East Carolina University (where she graduated Summa Cum Laude) and Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She has pursued her lifelong dream to become a dentist. Dr. Corbin married her high school sweetheart, Will Corbin, in September 2016. Will and Elizabeth thrilled to be back in their hometown. They will continue to attend Mt. Tabor Methodist Church where they have both remained members during their tenure outside of Winston-Salem. Dr. Corbin has two-year-old son and currently is expecting a baby girl.
Dr. Simpson was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. After completing her undergraduate degree in biology at East Carolina University, Simpson entered East Carolina Universitys School of Dental Medicine, where she received a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2016. She has been practicing outside of Winston Salem since July 2016. Simpsons professional affiliations include the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Simpson enjoys being outside as much as possible. In her free time, you will find her running, hiking, and gardening.

Very friendly folks and pleasant teeth cleaning experiences. However, I ultimately chose to seek dental care elsewhere when the dentist started recommending (expensive) "preventative crowns" that didn't make a lot of sense to me. I was also suspicious when my spouse and I got the exact same recommendation the same month, despite neither of us having any complaints or changes in our teeth. Got some second opinions that confirmed my instincts. If you prefer a conservative stance on dental work there may be better matches.

Dr. Sara Simpson goes above and beyond. The thoughts of "getting a crown" was terrifying to me. She made it easy and PAIN FREE. The color match and size is perfect! Thank you!

Hands down the best Dental Office I've ever been to. They are so warm, friendly, welcoming, and make you feel at ease. Dr. Corbin is a phenomenal Dentist and Jackie is my awesome Dental Hygienist. Highly recommend Forsyth Family Dental!!

Love all the dentists especially Dr. Gallisdorfer and Corben. The hygienists are also wonderful. They have a lovely office, with a handicap accessible ramp, entrance, and restrooms. They work with plenty of insurance companies and have reasonable rates.

My mother had appointment this past Thursday to replace a crown. She has been going to Dr. Gallisdorfer now for Years! He is Gentle, Pleasant, Friendly, and Knowledgeable about what he is doing and what he is going to do. He has been in practice numerous years as my mother used to see Dr. Wooten until he retired and then she started seeing Dr. Gallisdorfer with No Regrets! The other day, the staff explained to me, as well as my mother the care regarding the temporary crown for two weeks until placement of the permanent crown. I thought that was extremely nice of her to give me instructions as well so we, both mama and I could be on the same page when it comes to taking care of her mouth and tooth. The staff are very helpful, attentive and friendly. The lady setting up the follow up appointment was not "hurried " with us, so I could get the appointment in my iPhone Calendar with no problem. I was well pleased with this place. Very clean waiting room, with a T.V.. The bathroom was clean and not far away. Plenty of material to read while waiting. As I said Friendly staff, especially the African American lady at the front desk. Very friendly!
