At The John Fornetti Dental Center, we dont use the word patients we call everyone guests. Thats because our sole focus is on making your visit to The John Fornetti Dental Center the best experience possible. With a service akin to a 5 star hotel, our care philosophy is based on a CREDO card that each staff member carries and lives by.
We understand that sometimes a visit to the dentist can be stressful, so our first goal is to put our guests at ease. By answering every question and anticipating your every need, our staff will exceed your expectations and gain your trust.
Although Dr. John began this practice in 1983, his roots had been planted many years earlier. John's father graduated from dental school in 1944 and returned to Iron Mountain after World War II. There has been a strong family heritage ever since. Dr. John has the distinct pleasure of practicing with his son, Dr. Dan. He has been blessed with a powerful education which has helped him earn numerous diplomate and fellowship distinctions. John belongs to various dental organizations and has the privilege of being affiliated with both of our local hospitals. After graduating from dental school and returning home with his wife, Terese, they began their family and now have four beautiful children. His favorite hobbies are hunting, fishing and camping.
Continuing in family tradition, Dr. Dan graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2011. He then moved to St. Louis, Missouri and married his beautiful wife, Mary. After practicing in St. Louis for a year, Dr. Dan decided to move back home and practice with his father. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Dan is very excited to provide excellent dental care to the people of the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin. He enjoys spending time with his three children, Emma Ann, George Henry and Catherine Elizabeth. His hobbies include reading, cooking and hiking with Mary.
As the first doctor in her family, Dr. Nicole graduated from the university of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in May of 2019. Dr. Nicole grew up in Iron Mountain and is excited to be back in her hometown as she begins her career as a dentist. Dr. Nicole is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Dr. Nicole recently married her husband, Luke, in July of 2019 and welcomed baby Reid in 2020. She loves spending time with her family, doing art projects and crafting, and spoiling her dogs Gracie and Pepper.
'I love patient education and watching the progress my guests make not only in their oral health but overall health.' Meghan loves spending time with her family, staying active and enjoying the outdoors. She married her high school sweetheart, Mike, in 2012 and has three kids, Andrew, Ellery, and Nathan.
'I like the people - guests I get to take care of and team members I get to work with. I like building relationships.' Ewa loves being active outside - walking, running and exercising with friends at Bianco 's fitness. She also likes to stay in touch with her family in Poland. She 's been married to her husband, Wes, for over 21 years.
'I love being able to help people feel good about their smile! I enjoy getting to know my patients and developing a trusting relationship.' Outside of the office, Ashley likes spending time with friends and family, bonfires and kayaking. She married her high school sweetheart and has a cat named Daisy.
'I enjoy building relationships with our guests and assisting in changing their lives.' In her free time, Paula likes baking, reading, biking and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. She is married with two sons and two granddaughters.
'I thoroughly enjoy assisting our doctors in creating new smiles and hope for our guests.' Cheryl most enjoys spending time with her twin daughters, working with their horses and is an all around animal lover. When time permits, she enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, etc.
'I love that I am able to support every department in our practice and interact with our guests on a daily basis.' Shelly values her time spent with her three children, going to their sporting events, doing DIY projects, and hanging out with friends.
'Working at the John Fornetti Dental Center allows me to accomplish a goal in life; making a difference in peoples lives. Getting to know the guests and working with the awesome staff is such a reward.' She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family and friends; riding horses, camping, hunting and running. Donna has two daughters, five grandchildren, two horses and a dog.
'I love working with my awesome team and seeing people 's big smiles when they leave here after we have helped them.' Ciara enjoys the outdoors; hunting, boat rides and side-by-side rides. She also enjoys attending concerts and hanging out with friends and family. She lives on a potato farm, has one dog, a daughter, and a son.
'I love being able to be the first person to greet guests with a smile, extend hospitality and get to know them. It 's like growing a family. My favorite part is being Tooth Fairy and making balloon animals.' Karen is a potter. She also enjoys riding motor cycle, traveling, kayaking, exploring new places, cooking and volunteering in the community. Karen 's favorite thing in the world is being an Auntie. She feels so fortunate to have so many nieces and nephews both biological and ones she 's collected along the way. She has two fur babies named Boots and Socks.
For quite some time it has been our pleasure to offer our guests an apple following their visit with us. We are now taking this one step further by offering you a tasty apple muffin. Our all-natural muffins are baked fresh daily by our staff and are presented to you as you leave.
