Dr. Avraham Rambod graduated from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1996. He took Post-Doctorate training at Downstate School of Medicine until 1998, concentrating on Implant Surgery and Restoration, Periodontal and Oral Surgery, and has had a private practice since then. Dr. Avraham Rambod has continued education in Implant Surgery & Implant Restoration, Cosmetics, Periodontal Surgery, Orthodontics, Invisalign, Oral surgery, Pediatric Dentistry & Endodontics. Dr. Rambod also graduated with the highest honors from the Progressive Orthodontics Seminar.

If I can give this oral surgeon Dr. Avraham a ZERO I WOULD. Unprofessional. LIARS. WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU. I called before arriving, they stated that they take my insurance . (I sent over an email of my insurance card.) After that I arrived and was greeted by the receptionist and seated in the room awaiting the oral surgeon. I was advised there will be a charge for seeing the doctor (40$) and x ray (60$) . Total of around 100$ . NO PROBLEM. After that. Dr. Avraham than advised me to get a 360 scan of my teeth and jaw to see my nerves. No problem . (Does not tell me price ! ) AFTER THAT . Dr. Avraham comes back into the room and says to me it was cost $1250 for the wisdom tooth extraction. I was completely shocked and asked why was my insurance wasn't covering it. QUOTE ON QUOTE "your insurance only takes penny's on the dollar ...." !!!!! Wow what a way to speak to a customer. I have blue cross blue shield PPO plan . (A great insurance btw !!) . So after that I remained calm after having them WASTE MY TIME and SCAM ME . Dr. Avraham Tries to Negotiate on the price of my procedure. Dr. Avraham Than offered me 850$ For the procedure. Advising me that he'll cover the. X-ray and doctor visit. "You're already here, let's get you out of pain. " SPEAKING VERY FAST , AVOIDING ALL KINDS OF EYE CONTACT. (You can smell the dishonesty in the air) I kindly decline as to I'll just find another oral surgeon. Dr. Avraham Than advises the receptionist to charge me 230$ for the visit and the x ray out of pocket. If I knew that the procedure would be $1250 I would of kindly declined the X-ray as well. (Why would I pay for it when I can just go to another oral surgeon that accepts my insurance.) Now I completely wasted my time, still in pain and booked another appointment with a oral surgeon on ZOC DOC . Stay away from these LIARS AND SCAMMERS . Also they advised me that they NEED my social after I declined on putting it on the form. As to I have insurance and the insurance company has it. I can see now .... They wanted my social Sercuity number so they can make sure I pay. If I do not they will post a collection. Real smart scam Artist. STAY AWAY. BEWARE. I WILL BE POSTING THIS PUBLICLY WITH MY INFORMATION AS I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE.

Dr. Rambod is a fantastic individual. He has patience, is very calm and has a gentle hand. He always explains what he is about to do. His team and himself work with you and know the hardship financial that teeth can be. He has fixed damage from other dentist and is a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Rambod for many years and he has aways made the dentist's chair relaxing and straightforward. He is very experienced and I have never had any complications and have fast recoveries when he is working his magic!

Wow! What an amazing experience we just had there tonight. I brought my 5 year old son there tonight for some emergency work that had to be done. He was so gentle and calm with him! My son can be very tough and stubborn especially when it comes to Dr.'s and Dentists! Dr. Rombod worked his magic and managed to get my son to cooperate! The work went smoothly I was so surprised My son didn't even cry! He also stayed late just for us!

Very nice and friendly. I had been to other orthodontists and they told me I would have to get a tooth extraction or possibly a surgical procedure, but when I came to Dr. Ramrod, he managed to move my tooth down, avoiding any surgery! Great orthodontist!!

This was, by far THE most pleasant experience I've ever had at the dentist. Dr. Abraham was a true professional. He delivered his assessment and opinion in a easy to understand consultation. He and his staff made the experience delightful. He explained my issue and the treatment and was completely affordable on top of it all. I highly recommend him and will becoming back for years. Parking was available. Wait time minimal. Absolutely no down side. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Thanks Doc.

Dr Rambod is incredibly knowledgeable and has the most wonderful bedside manner. His office staff is efficient, kind and understanding. Went in today to get my Wisdom Teeth Out, two actually, it was the most comfortable and easy experince. All the nerves I had the doctor made sure were gone. Made me feel at home. Would highly recommend!!

I have been coming to forever smile for some time now. The office is very peaceful and clean. It is well lit and the staff are courteous. I recently needed to extract my wisdom tooth. I had a bad experience before but Dentist Rambod reassured me that it would be okay. He was very skilled and was able to remove the wisdom tooth with a few wiggles. The entire tooth cap and root came out seamlessly and it was a tricky one because the root was curved. The after experience was also amazing. There wasn't any swelling of pain at the sight of removal and I needed no pain medication. I was blown away with the service I received. My son also comes to Dentist Rambod and he has never had a bad experience. Whenever I tell him we are going to the dentist he is excited. His teeth are coming along beautifully. Thank you Dentist Rambod and staff for your excellent care. Amazing

Dr. Rambod saved me. I was in pain since Tuesday and he went out of his way to see me on Friday. His office was closed but he opened it for me. My Wisdom tooth extraction was painless and done quickly. I am very thankful for him and his work.

Dr. Rambod extracted my lower, right wisdom tooth. This tooth was hooked under the bone and extremely close to a nerve. Dr. Rambod took the time move the tooth away from the bone. This strategy proved successful - the procedure was quick and I was left with minimal swelling. The pain receded within a day. I highly recommend.

5/5! I am so grateful for Dr. Rambod and his staff for such a comfortable and efficient experience. I called about pain from an impacted wisdom tooth, and he was able to schedule me in for an emergency extraction the very next day. He was very thorough and transparent, made sure I was pain-free and relaxed during the entire procedure, and took the time to answer any questions I had. Highly recommend!
