As someone who loved science and medicine even in elementary school, Dr. Dormer pursued his career directly after graduating from Central Dauphin High School. Earning degrees at Gettysburg College and then the North Carolina School of Dentistry, he searched for a practice that is passionate about patient care and service. He zeroed in on the existing Forest Hills practice in Harrisburg in 1992, purchased an interest in the practice from its retiring founder, and knew immediately he had found his dental home. A people person, he enjoys the camaraderie of his staff, as well as getting to know patients and putting them at ease.
Dr. Will Svitko was drawn to dentistry through a desire to help people. He explored various avenues of doing so, including as an undergraduate researcher in a Cellular Genetics lab, but was swayed towards dentistry when he saw the immediate impact he could make. He loves being able to improve quality of life and brighten smiles from the moment you walk in the door.
Dr. Svitko grew up in Camp Hill, graduating from Cumberland Valley High School. He then went to the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Biochemistry and got a Masters Degree in Chemistry before going to the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, graduating with honors from both institutions.

Dr. Dormer is very skilled, is always concerned about patient experience, checking in a lot during treatment to make sure you are comfortable. FHD hires the best people; all are very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Dormer is the best dentist I've ever had, and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Dormer is the best dentist I have ever had. He is concerned about his patient and always asks if I am feeling any pain while working on my teeth. He invests in the latest technology and his staff is friendly and everyone in the office cares about you as a person. Would never go anywhere else but here.

Even though I live on the West Shore, I have been a patient at Forest Hills Dental for over 20 years. It's well worth the drive. Dr. Dormer, the hygienists and staff are very professional and accommodating. Whenever you have an issue, they work you in and I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes. They also always have the latest technology and equipment.

Dr Dormer is an excellent dentist. He is quite knowledgeable about all up to date techniques.He is very caring and does not want his patients to feel pain. Ashley is my regular hygienist and she is so kind, funny, and very smart.The other staff members are efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this office for of your dental care needs.

Long appointment for the initial crown prep. The team that worked on me was very warm and personable and, most importantly, they were very good. They went the extra step to preserve a tooth that was in bad shape, and explained everything before it was done. There efforts were much appreciated!

The fees are in line with what I would expect. I've been going there for 10 years and have no complaints. Probably nobody likes going to the dentist. Forest Hills Dental is the best experience you can have.

Dr Dormer and staff are excellent with all forms of dental care. My experience was just totally painless. He kept asking if I felt anything (two cavities) and was awesome. Has been my dentist for many and will recommend to all who need a dentist!
