Dr Shin did a great job with my new crown! She took the time and effort to check my night guard and retainers after the crown work was done. Dr. Shin is very pleasant and professional. Thanks so much Dr. Shin! Kayla was Dr. Shin's assistant today and was also very pleasant and professional. She did a great job as well! Thanks Kayla. The office staff is always very pleasant and nice to work with! Thanks Forest Dental for another GREAT job!

This was a long time (9+ months) ago so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. Normally I'd say that this place gives excellent care and they almost always do! They're always on time and efficient. However, when I visited earlier this year fully pregnant one of the techs tapped my pregnant belly and asked the gender of my baby, and tapped it again and said "I'm sorry" when I said he's a boy. I know she didn't mean it poorly but it was a bit insensitive and I didn't want my belly touched. Just something to remind staff of to be sensitive of <3

I don't write a lot of reviews, but the care I received from Dr. Binder was so beyond the norm that I need to share my experience. I live in California but am spending a few months in Lynchburg while my daughter attends Liberty. I began having significant tooth pain, and of course my CA dentist is thousands of miles away. My daughter had been to Forest Dental a couple times so she recommended I give them a call. I went in and my issue was a tricky one to diagnose, so they tried the first potential fix to see if that was the issue. It turns out this wasn't the main issue and when I got up on Sunday morning the pain that had been manageable (and could wait for a follow up appointment) suddenly escalated into what may be the most extreme pain I've ever felt. I was literally in a panic to make the pain stop. I went to an urgent care clinic, since it was Sunday, and they said there's nothing they could do. I considered an emergency room next but decided to try calling Forest Dental and left a message. Even though I've only been a patient for exactly one visit, Dr. Binder promptly returned my call and arranged to meet me at 6pm on Sunday. He numbed the area and gave me prescriptions for pain and strong antibiotics, which by that PM worked to mostly stop the pain. Then on Monday his office got me in touch with a specialist to figure out what was going on. Turns out the issue was tricky because there are two separate problems side by side, with neither showing up on xray. But its under control now. I cannot understate how appreciative I am that Dr. Binder took the time to see me in this extremely painful emergency. This is truly a superlative level of care.

The absolute best dentist office i've been at. I had a dental emergency & they were able to see me right away. The front office & hygienist were so kind & respectful, and Dr Shin was so knowledgeable. Thank you to the fantastic team!

I went earlier today and Morgan was so nice! It was really nice having someone take time and so things slowly. I am absolutely terrified of the dentist and Morgan would take time to check in and make sure I was okay, or reassure me. I'm actually excited for my next appointment in a few weeks!
