Dr. Ray Wallace has been practicing dentistry since 2016 in Savannah and since January 2018 in Richmond Hill. He became the owner of Ford Avenue Family Dentistry (formally Copenhaver Dental) on November 1, 2018. He is excited to head up the existing team from Copenhaver Dental in the pursuit of excellence in family care and restorative dentistry.
He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Georgia in 2009. He then went on to pursue his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at the College of Dental Medicine in Augusta, Georgia, graduating in May of 2015. Following his graduation in June of 2015, he entered a one-year general practice residency also at the College of Dental Medicine. His advanced training in this residency focused on placement of dental implants, implant-supported dentures, IV conscious sedation, root canals, extractions, Invisalign and ClearCorrect orthodontics. Dr. Wallace is an active member in the American Dental Association and also the Georgia Dental Association.
Growing up in Savannah gave Dr. Wallace a love for boating, fishing and the outdoors. In his spare time, he enjoys incorporating these activities into his family time with his wife, Anna, his two children, Nora and Ray, and the family pet, Nitro.

My hygienist was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating. Ford Avenue Family Dental office use advanced technology and equipment which will give me the best results for my dental needs. They work with the VA and this is a financial benefit to veterans such as myself.

Today's cleaning service was the most gentle and thorough I've had in recent years. The office is clean and the reception staff are cheerful and welcoming. I recommend Ford Avenue Family Dentistry to everyone, especially any one who is afraid from dental experiences. These professionals will change your mind!

I have been a patient here for almost three years. My most recent checkup included X-rays and a twice-yearly cleaning. They did a thorough cleaning and took a lot of X-rays, so I can't say they missed anything. I can therefore relax knowing that my teeth are being adequately monitored and maintained. The staff is kind, there has never been a significant wait, and I have seen the same hygienist, Corinne, at each visit. She has always cleaned my teeth. She notifies the dentist of what she observed during cleanings and is friendly, helpful, and concerned about the patient. The dentist always examines your teeth promptly after each cleaning, so you can talk to him about any questions or concerns you may have. I feel at ease visiting this dental office because everyone is very professional, it's well kept and clean (which makes me feel at ease), and the dentist only suggests procedures that are absolutely necessary for the care of my teeth, even though they do provide a variety of services, another plus. Sincerely, I have no problems, and if you're looking for a new dentist, I definitely suggest this practice.

New patient exam & x-rays, & everyone was professional, friendly, & answered my questions clearly. The follow-up is excellent. I also have to say the office is beautiful, & the bathroom is amazing. Cloth towels w/which to dry your hands, & a hamper? Really? Those extra touches are impressive

I was scheduled with a new hygienist. She was very courteous and did an excellent job. Dr Wallace's exam was professional and very courteous. He communicates very clearly the condition of my gums, teeth and explains any necessary treatment. I highly recommend Ford Avenue Family Dentistry.
