Dr. Christensen created the Free Under 3 program to help ensure ALL children have access to the dentist. In his free time, you will find him camping, hiking and spending time with his family.
Dr. Ramirez work with the underserved population is what drove him to pursue his pediatric specialty. As a father, he understands the importance of providing the highest quality dental care in a fun and compassionate environment. Outside of the office you will find him riding bikes to the lake or building LEGOS with his son. Having strong roots from Texas, he is a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan!

I started taking my daughter here shortly after her teeth came in bc they offered free cleanings twice a year until age three. My kiddo is now nine and absolutely LOVES going to the dentist. Her fave part is the chocolate toothpaste (yep, you read that right) and the little freebie toys she gets to choose from after. She will literally count down the days until her appointment. I can only hope that continues!! I highly recommend this place to all parents!

Our 3 year old daughter LOVES going to this dentist! She has a plan to be a dentist when she grows up and she loves to play with her pretend dentist kit. When she goes to her appointment at Foothills Pediatric Dentist, she really enjoys brushing the oversized teeth in the stuffed Monkey and Stuffed Shark with the giant toothbrush. She gets to choose which toothbrush and flavor of fluoride is used to clean her teeth and she can watch cartoons while the doctor cleans them. It makes what could be a scary appointment something that our daughter looks forward to and gets excited about! The gigantic prize wall is also a favored part of the appointment- Thank you for making our lives easier!!!

We have been patients of FHD for 7 years and have a consistently positive experience. The staff is kind, caring, engaging and well versed with attending to children's curiosity and fears. My children enter happy and excited and leave the same way. They are right at home! When we have faced dental problems, the dentists have always taken the time needed to discuss and explain the details of the treatment plan. The crucial care that they give is outstanding , team based and centered on whole patient, whole family approach. I could not be happier with a dentist. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. Dr. Christensen is so awesome with kids, AND I never feel like he's trying to sell me on dental work they don't need. We stumbled upon this office when my 2 year old fell into a bookshelf and hurt his mouth pretty bad...we were new to the area and had an emergency pediatric dental visit here. I am SO GLAD this is the office we picked. We've since had some regular cleaning visits for both our kids. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!

Always do a great job and my youngest is always excited to go to the dentist here. Doctors and assistants listen to concerns. Recommend especially if Medicaid is your insurance. Best in longmont even without Medicaid.
