Richard is thrilled to be in Fort Collins, CO. He is married to Binita, his beautiful wife; they have a son, an adorable boy named Elliot and two wonderful daughters, Simran and Aurelia. Richard is proud to run this terrific dental practice that has been in Fort Collins for over 20 years. Richard feels extremely privileged to be part of such a fantastic dental office with such brilliant staff.
Richard was born in Yorkshire England. He grew up in the United Kingdom, South Africa, and in Kansas City. Richard graduated cum laude from the Pembroke Hill School in 1999. He then went on to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering with distinction and honors from the University of Kansas.
He scored in the top 0.3% in the nation on the National Board Dental Examination on clinical science. Richard graduated cum laude from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, one of the top-ranked dental schools in the United States. He is a graduate of the implant preceptorship and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the worlds largest dental implant organization. Richard also has special training in gum grafting to treat areas of recession and gum disease. He has provided mission work as far away as the Philippines. He loves playing sports, staying fit, and flying.
Dr. Anderson has practiced in Fort Collins for 13 years with the highest commitment to precision, quality and truly outstanding patient experiences. Dr. Anderson has been selected by yearly surveys of over 1,000 of his fellow Colorado dentists as 5280 Magazines Top Dentists in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. He received the designation of Delta Dental Achieve Dentist for statistically providing outstanding clinical results, conservative treatment, and effective preventive strategies; and not just one year but for the past 10 consecutive years.
Dr. Anderson was recently elected by his fellow dentists to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Larimer County Dental Society. He was also elected and served on the Board of Trustees for the non-profit Delta Dental of Colorado, and its charitable foundation. Accolades started early in his career, graduating from the highly ranked dental school, University of Texas Health Science Center, with Honors, Cum Laude and awards in dental implantology and practice management. He achieved Distinction on his National Boards (top 1 %) and received the highest score at his university for his clinical State Dental Boards. But as his patients know, there is a whole lot more to Dr. A than his passion for excellence in dentistry.
Dr. Andersons family is the joy of his life. He is married to his loving wife of 27 years, Shauna. They have raised their four fantastic children, Jonny, Nick, Natalie and Jacqueline, in the Fort Collins community. As family they enjoy supporting charity work with Poudre School District, Game On 2K and RamStrength.
Dr. Anderson is an active outdoor adventurer and can be found guiding his friends and family to grizzly bears, wolves, and all sorts of animals while having crazy experiences in Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, Glacier, Grand Canyon and Rocky Mountain National Parks. He professes to be a poor wildlife photographer, an even worse fly-fisherman, a fair cook but can actually make a mean chocolate cake. His patients secretly attest to his poor ability to sing 80s classic rock most afternoons.
When you meet Dr. Anderson, ask him about his years as an FBI Agent, where he worked to protect President Clinton, worked undercover at the 2002 Olympics, chased kidnappers, put the cuffs on many bad guys, and even worked as an under-cover trash collector.
Faye is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. Originally from Fort Collins, Faye joined us in the summer of 2002 when she returned home from Gillette, Wyoming with her family of four. Faye can schedule and provide your preventative visits. She is also your primary therapist for non-surgical periodontal treatment, should you require this. She brings over 25 years of quality experience and is ready to serve you. She has two children and three grandchildren. Ask her about all of her animals!
Lisajoined our team summer of 2018. Originally from upstate NY, she graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She then went on to obtain her Dental Hygiene degree from UNC at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.Lisaenjoys forming relationships with patients to assist them in making the best oral health decisions.Lisa, her husband, Jeffrey, and daughter, Grace, enjoy hiking, skiing, and exploring the beautiful state of Colorado.
Cindy is one of our dental assistants. She joined us in 2018. She has been dental assisting for over ten years. She has lived in Fort Collins since 1984. She is married to her sweetheart Kurt and has two sons. She now has two granddaughters. With her free time, she enjoys reading, time with family, and riding her motorcycle.

A dental practice that's respectful, transparent, and honest about treatment and for a healthy oral hygiene. Dr. Pass and the staff are friendly and have always treated me with courtesy during my visits. My dental hygienist, Lisa, handles my problem spots carefully and competently. When treatment is needed, they tell me what's needed and what options are available to me.

My 10 yo son is a very nervous patient, and was terrified about his filling, but Dr Pass and his team couldn't have done more to put him at ease. They were incredibly warm, and made what could have been a pretty horrid and stressful experience a genuinely pleasant one.

Dr. Pass and everyone at the Foothills office are absolutely amazing. I am a walking anxiety when it comes to dentistry. Doctor listened to all my concerns and fears, offered variety of solutions to ease my anxiety. As a result my procedure went smoothly as a breeze. What a great experience. We arrived to Fort Collins yesterday to move our son to CSU. When he started to complain of tooth pain we were worried. I called Foothills at 8:00 and they got us in at 8:40. How amazing is that! And the staff was exceptional. My son received great care and the front office staff was warm, accommodating, and efficient. We are so grateful that they got him in on short notice and remedied his situation. We'll be back in 6 months!

Every time I visit Foothills Family Dental, I feel that I'm getting the best care possible. Dr Pass, the hygienists, and the rest of the staff always make sure that I understand my dental health and any procedures that are being performed or recommended. I'm 75 and this is the best dental care I've ever had. Another visit and it affirms my opinion, Foothills is the best dental care I've ever had.

I had a pretty intense set of fillings on my last visit. From my last experience with a filling at comfort dental, I was terrified to go to the dentist, hence the need for fillings now. Dr. Pass made sure I was very numb and comfortable before he began which eased my nerves tremendously. He never made me feel and about my teeth and was informative with the rest of my dental work that I'll need. The day after I had minimal soreness/pain and looking at the teeth that were fixed you can hardly tell there was work done. Thank you!!

A chipped front tooth from (in Dr. Pass's words) using my teeth as a tool LOL was fixed 24 hours later thanks to the scheduling efforts of his staff and the remarkable dental cosmetic skills of Dr. Pass. Now I don't have to tell people what an idiot I am when they'd ask "What happened to your front tooth?". Thank you Foothills Dental!

I will be updating as I continue the treatment. BUT Firs my wife did an appointment and give the previous dentist contact info (asked by them) so they can call and get the x-rays and the information they needed (don't worry we are contacting them) Then 3 weeks latter they didn't had anything. So we started bad. I was on the chair, in my phone trying to get an email from my previous doctor with the xrays and my information, that the doctor had to go thru on my phone. The doctor, she was super nice. Then the main doctor came he was also very nice. They charged me the full price since they weren't sure if my insurance will pay for it or not (which make sense). 3 days latter I saw my insurance covered part of the treatment (not all since they stated that their price is way over the max of state average). I called them since I got no refund, they told me that I need to wait a month for the refund since the process that on 1st of each month. So, the doctors were nice. Everything around them was terrible so far. Overpriced. Bad administration staff.
