Great dentist to go to! I had a ton of jaw pain and grinding of my teeth prior to visiting this office. After a quick consultation with Dr. Emily Letran, she recommended aligners to help alleviate the pain and fix my grinding. I previously had braces and was hesitant, but am so happy I did! My jaw pain has since diminished and I no longer grind my teeth at night, plus have the added benefit of less headaches now.

I never had such a bad experience with any dentist office as I had with this clinic. The people are so non-professional and the dentist behave badly.

I went last Thursday to this dentist and she was nice at the beginning with me while I was filling out all the work for my father. I handle all his documents now because if his dementia which I let her know from the beginning. When it came to her having to do x rays she took my father to the back alone and before she left I stressed to her to have patience with my father and within just minutes I can hear her raising her voice at my father and getting frustrated with him because he obviously can't understand things well anymore and until she called me back there to help her with my father she was still raising her voice at him out of frustration of him not being able to comprehend and she didn't calm down until I made it clear that she should lower her voice and be more patient because when I went back there my father was so afraid and confused and worried he upset her because he couldn't follow directions. I don't recommend this place for any one especially with the elderly that have existing mental conditions.

I've came here since I was younger when the office used to be located near the pavilions 9 years ago. The office has treated me really great and have taken good care of me. Awesome staff and great workers!

Been a patient of Dr Emily Letran since the late 1990's. Before Dr Letran, I had gone to a dentist that police raided while I was in the chair. So I have had a fear of dentistry. That same day Dr Letran was my saving grace, she saved my tooth, that they butchered and she was the most calming dentist I have had. She is real with you, not just a face behind a mask. My personal experience has been great; skilled, professional and personable. The office staff is great too! They have been able to get appointments, payments and referrals that work within my needs. And well...the office lobby itself has its "charm"; the decorations make you smile and this office staff gives you great looking teeth that makes you smile big.

For someone who hasn't been to the dentist in a while, they made my experience very fun while keeping me informed on exactly what was happening/going to happen for my treatments. Dr. Letran and her staff are absolutely amazing, I highly recommend them!

I know other reviews for this office are positive, but PLEASE hear me out. Last August (2018), I went in for a routing cleaning (first visit with this office). I was told by the dentist and the hygienist that I needed to see an orthodontist immediately to straighten my (almost perfectly even) bottom teeth. They said delaying treatment would risk long-term damage to my teeth. By the end of the appointment, I had been bullied into signing up for Care Credit and making an orthodontist appointment. I just wanted to get out of there, so I did what they asked! As soon as I got home, I called my brother who is a dentist. He told me my teeth are fine, and not to go into debt to fix something that isn't a problem. So the very next day, I called and canceled my appointment. The office told me my Care Credit would be cancelled as well. Long story short, for the next eight months, I received statements from Care Credit saying I owed $2000 for orthodontic services through this office. In this time, I filed disputes, I called the office, and I did absolutely everything I could to kindly request the money be returned to Care Credit (since I didn't receive the services). Ultimately, it took me consulting with a lawyer and submitting a formal complaint to the California Dental Board for them to return the money. Because this loan showed up on my credit report, I wanted to get my records from the office to prove I had not required the loan, and the money had been held illegally by the office causing delinquent payments. After calling twice per week for 4 weeks asking for my records, I finally went into the office (with a copy of the Dental Board's list of Patient Rights) to request my records. The receptionist was very salty, and made me stand in the waiting room for 10 minutes while she took care of "other patients." FYI, I was the only one in the waiting room, and I could hear here laughing and joking with staff in the back for those 10 minutes. Finally, she came out and printed off 3 pieces of paper, which were essentially blank. I asked for a list of my past appointments and she told me she wasn't authorized to give that to me. I wanted to share my experience with others out there to make sure people know what they're getting into. Please, don't sign up for Care Credit through this office, and please go in knowing your rights as a patient! Don't let them bully you around! Be kind, but firm, and don't be afraid to go up the chain of command to get what you need from them.

I have been attending Dr.Letran's office in Monrovia for the past 10yrs. I have always given the best attention by her staff and her. I have been to other offices in the past and there has not been any place I have felt most comfortable like Foothill Dental. I would definitely recommend friends and family . A very professional office.
