Originally from Philippines, Dr. Buchanan attended University of the East and Centro Escolar University in Manila in order to pursue her dental degree. She continued her dental education through courses and training programs at the Loma Linda University, earning her licensure from the Dental Board of California. She keeps her practice up-to-date through continuing education courses.
Patients visiting Dr. Buchanan can receive a full range of restorative andcosmetic dental services. She provides veneers, teeth whitening, mercury free fillings(white fillings) and implants, as well as root canals and childrens dentistry. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Buchanan enjoys gardening cooking and hiking.
She loves both the art and science of dentistry. Her passion is Cosmetic Dentistry and she loves the smile that she can create for the patients with her work. She welcomes her patients to the comfort of her beautiful and luxurious office and uses state of the art technology to deliver high quality care to her patients.
Dr. Owyoung graduated from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and Management Science. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry (USC). Upon the completion of dental school, Dr. Owyoung was trained at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) to achieve his specialty certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and a Master of Science degree in Biomaterials/Oral Biology.
He has lectured and published on an array of topics including Chronic Disease Prevention and Oral Health Promotion, Dental Biomaterials, and Oral Implantology. Dr. Owyoung is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, A Recognized Specialty of the American Dental Association. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters, running, or playing/watching basketball.
She customizes a treatment plan for each patient, working alongside pediatric dentists, periodontists, endodontists, oral surgeons, and general practitioners to deliver positive and effective solutions to eliminate the fears associated with dental procedures. Dr. Ramos specializes ingeneral anesthesia, pain management, oral sedation, and conscious sedation throughout the Bay Area and surrounding cities.

Great service...I am a doctor myself and still always very apprehensive about dental visits due to past experience...I ended up requiring an extraction of the third molar tooth ..so then I visited Dr. Roxanna Buchanan for the procedure..She explained everything in detail patiently all the exam findings, xrays, did a good cleaning and explained carefully each step while doing the procedure...that helped me a lot to calm down...the procedure turned out to be absolutely painless..in one day itself the extraction site feels nearly normal..Now I have overcome my fear of dentist visits..Office work and scheduling appointments was also such a breeze..Shout out to Foothill Dental Care!

Dr. Buchanan was so kind and relieved my anxiety. She saw me for a dental emergency and treated me with kindness and compassion. She took care of my issue with no pain. If you have any fears of seeing a dentist or it has been a long time since you have seen a dentist this is the place for you!

I had a wonderful time when visiting this office for the first time as a new patient. They made me feel right at home and a part of the family. Dr. Buchanan gave me honest sincere advice on my teeth and how to proceed. She recommended what's best for me specifically and referred me to an orthodontist also!

I came to see Dr. Roxanna Buchanan for a little gum pain during the summer of 2021 and appreciated her professionalism and transparency with a quick diagnosis and treatment. I had not been to the dentist in over 10 years and was a bit nervous but when I came back for a deep cleaning and multiple fillings I was so impressed with her level of care that I referred my boyfriend to her as well who as since been in for a deep cleaning and fillings too. We both admire and respect Dr. Buchanan and her staff and look forward to continuing our dental care with her!

My husband and I are very happy we changed dentists. Dr. Buchanan is genuinely interested in preserving one's teeth and keeping teeth and gums healthy. She takes her time to explain why certain procedures are necessary and is very down to earth. I also appreciate the texts we get before a visit since our memory is sometimes faulty.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Buchanan and her staff. I had not been to the dentist in over 15 years due to fear but Dr. Buchanan was very professional, she made me feel at ease and took the time to explain what needed to be done. The LAST honest dentist in town. Dr. Beuchanan and staff are down to earth and the dentist is very thoughtful and thorough. Not a people mill here. It is quiet and unassuming. Great location.

Dr. Buchannan replaced a bridge in my mouth that was at least 20 years old. The temporary, fit of new bridge and color were all excellent. Uncomfortable process (which was to be expected) but no pain. Very pleased with the results. I have a few more crowns that need replacing and I will have Dr. Buchannan do the work.
