At Foothill Dental Care, our emphasis is on patient comfort, quality dental service and overall health. Through our practice at Foothill Dental Care, Dr. Jean Lee and her highly qualified team help families throughout the greater Tujunga, California area obtain optimal dental health.

Dr. Lee is a highly skilled, accomplished, and compassionate dentist. She began her education at the University of California, Berkeley. After earning a degree in molecular cell biology, Dr. Lee went on to earn her dentistry degree at the University of California, San Francisco.

In practice since 2007, Dr. Lee specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry. She is passionate about individualized care, listening to and customizing treatment for every patient's unique set of dental needs and goals. From the youngest individual to the oldest, each person in her care is a valued member of the Foothill Dental Care family.

Dental innovation is advancing at a rapid pace, and Dr. Lee embraces that progression. Always seeking new opportunities to expand her skills and knowledge, Dr. Lee makes time to pursue continuing education on new dental techniques and technologies.

Dr. Lee is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Fernando Dental Society. She firmly believes in the importance of remaining engaged with and connected to the local professional community.

When not in the office, you can find Dr. Lee enjoying time with family and friends. Her adventurous nature has led her to zip line through the trees of Catalina as well as explore the beauty of Thailand.

Dr. Lee is great but she no longer has a professional front office staff. Having been a patient there for 40 years, I unfortunately had an emergency, my calls were ignored by her front desk staff, and when I complained, the receptionist told me if I was unhappy, then perhaps it was time I went somewhere else. All, they do not care if you are in pain, they don't have an emergncy service. There are plenty of dentists out there with weekend hours and with a service that reaches out to the dentists when someone calls with an emergency.Take your hard earned money to a more caring, professional Dental office with professional, friendly, front desk staff.

Over my 70 plus years, I have had oodles of Dentists. But none as good as Dr. Lee here at Foothill Dental. 6 Stars if I could. 4.0, A+. Care and comfort. Thank you Dr Lee AND her wonderful staff, from the front office, the dental techs. The staff is attentive and takes so good care.

I went in for a cleaning. I was in a bit of a bad mood anticipating dental discomfort. I was very pleasantly surprised by Dr Jean Lee Dos. What a pleasure it was to have such a gently easy comfortable treatment. Well done. considering I hate going to dentist so much it was an easy time of it. LOL.

Giving 3 stars, here is why: I believe that Dr. has incorrect information on her website. It seemed to me that she was accepting pediatric patients and was able to fix their teeth if there is a necessity per website description, however, she only can REFER to a pediatric dentist...I wasted my time going in there just to get a referral that I didn't need with my PPO insurance. So, if there is more than to clean your baby teeth and you don't need a referral, please, don't waste your time.

Giving 3 stars, here is why: I believe that Dr. has incorrect information on her website. The staff is very professional and caring. From the moment I started filling out paperwork until the time I walked out with my gift bag of toothpaste and toothbrush I was at ease and well cared for.

Dr. Lee is both personable and professional. The dental assistants are always courteous. The front office staff are flexible with scheduling and have worked with me multiple times to find the best payment options.

I came in inquiring about an appointment for today for a possible tooth extraction - without checking any appointment book or anything, no questions regarding if I am in pain or any concerns for me or my time was told no appointments available. (I assume it's due to the way I look or something. Unsure if race related -- hopefully not.. I get that a lot from the tattoos.) So out of curiosity I waited 30 minutes and called just to see what they would say. I ask "Hi, wondering if you have any openings for today for a tooth extraction?" The woman on the phone replies: "Hmm let me check, are you in any pain, also you didn't come in earlier did you?" *warning flag went up* I answer "Yes I'm in a bit of pain - No, weird question -- but no I didn't come in." She answers back "Ok, well we have an opening at 12pm." I reply "Okay, let me call you back." What I am getting at is you really shouldn't treat a potential cash paying customer like that.. As now I have to write a 1 star review due to either racial or some other type of profiling. Both women at the front should be retrained on how to handle patients as the other instead of smiling and nodding could of done the right thing, showed actual concern for my well being, and checked the bloody book rather than me dealing with nonsense just because I a poor looking guy with tattoos. Thanks again for your time in reading this and I hope this helps you the reader on deciding where you should do your business.

I had a new crown put on one of my teeth. The procedure was painless and Dr Lee was very gentle. I am extremely happy with my crown and it matches my other teeth beautifully.

I was very skeptical and afraid to go to any dentist before going to Dr. Jean Lee. I was able to overcome my fear during my first visit with her. She is amazing!!!! She did two extractions and I was very confident and did not even use the pain medications she prescribed.

Had to have crown replaced. Experience is good so far and right now have temporary crown on and doing good. Dr. Lee explains each step she is doing and has a fun personality!
