Dr. Foley was born and raised in the Beckley area. He completed his Bachelors Degree in Biology, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Masters Degree in Orthodontics from West Virginia University, where he graduated with honors.
He began practicing orthodontics in 1995 with Dr. Thomas Jarrett and bought the practice in 2005. He shares his knowledge and experience in orthodontics as a Clinical Professor at West Virginia Universitys Orthodontic Residency Program and is an examiner for the graduating resident board cases.
Dr. Foley is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and keeps up-to-date on the most innovative techniques in orthodontics by attending orthodontic courses all over the world. He is a Preferred Provider for Invisalign, certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry to provide soft tissue laser surgery and a graduate of the Pankey Institute, where he learned advanced techniques in occlusion and TMJ therapy.
He has been the president of the West Virginia Orthodontic Association and the West Virginia Orthodontic Alumni Association. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, West Virginia Dental Association and the New River Dental Society.
Dr. Foley founded a charity, Smile for a Lifetime, which provides orthodontic treatment to patients that could not otherwise afford treatment. He feels that having a great smile helps you succeed in both your personal and professional life.
Dr. Foley is married to Cyndi and has a son named Luke and two step-sons, Zac and Noah. He enjoys fitness, kite boarding, golfing, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, farming, horses, traveling and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Their goal is to provide you with the best smile possible using the most highly technologically advanced orthodontic materials and procedures available anywhere in the world.
Team Foley is involved in several community events and charities such as March of Dimes, educational field trips to our office, Max Toy Fund, career days, Partners in Education, Read a Loud Programs in elementary schools, Chili Night, Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Show, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, CPR certification, Womens Resource Center and United Way.

Doctor Foley is a great dentist I had to wear braces for 2 years and he had my teeth BEAUTIFUL but I didn't wear my retainer and my teeth moved so follow what he says!!!!

I highly recommend them! They are very nice and professional. If you have any issues they get you in the very next day to fix it. They did great with my kids' teeth

Only cares about the money! Told my daughter would have braces for 2 years. At one year she suddenly walked out without braces. Front teeth were barely straight. Asked about recheck and was told that she was done and needed no further apts. There was zero communication! Even with wearing the plastic retainer her teeth had moved within 2 weeks to the point the retainer no longer fit. You now can't tell she ever had them. Do not recommend this man at all!

Amazing place. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The office was nice and clean. My son was nervous about seeing another dentist and as soon as we walked in his nerves vanished and he was excited to meet Dr. Foley and his staff. Dr. Foley is wonderful. He is very polite and kind. He's also easy to talk to and answers questions the best he can. My son told me he can't wait to go back to see him again. Would recommend Dr. Foley to anyone.

The visit was awesome. The young lady that took my sons X-rays and pics was super nice. My son felt very comfortable. She was the best. She was the only one we met except for the lady at the front desk and she was very welcoming.

It was nice and getting my braces put on was fast and painless and the staff were friendly but I wish they would've also added braces to my lower teeth. As they only put braces on my upper teeth

After years of waiting for various different reasons I've had to put off getting my teeth fixed. To say I had anxiety was an understatement, but this office provided a judge free, welcoming and warm environment. I'm excited to start my journey for braces with them!!
