I just had my very first encounter with this Lovely Dentist, and her Entire Staff. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted. The waiting area is neat and cozy, with a beautiful fish tank. that is very relaxing-:) I couldn't have been treated any kinder. The Dental Hygienist was very thorough and gentle-:) This Lovely Dentist made sure I had any/all questions answered prior to leaving. I have Never felt So Comfortable in a Dental chair before-:) I am So Very Thankful that I found this Wonderful group-:) No more unnecessary fretting about a Dental visit- What a Breath of Fresh Air, You and your team are Dr. Folatko-:) Thank you So Very Much!!

4 stars, Great Dr's and staff but the lady at the front desk is not a very happy person. She tossed my printed appointment card at me under the glass partition and mumbled something. I guess it was a thank you? Not sure. Not a great front desk experience, just saying.

Absolutely the most unprofessional dental practice around summit county. I was told one price for Clear Correct and additional price after It didn't work. They continued to explain their costs to me to justify charging extra which is absolutely unprofessional. They set their price and the customer pays what is proposed, we don't set their cost or price. I paid upfront $3000 and then was told it would be another $1000 when the treatment didn't work, with no guaranteed that it would straighten my teeth. My teeth are pretty straight as is, so to think they had issues getting my case completed shows they should stick to dental services only and not orthodontics. When I asked questions about the further treatment, I was sent paragraphs of emails followed by terse communication as if I had no choice. I'll be attaching emails here as well later. Do not go here.

When my dentist retired I was a nervous wreck trying to find a new dentist, I am so glad I found this office! I highly recommend this dentist! Dr. Sookoo and team is very knowledgeable and but my mind at ease! By far one of the best dental experiences I have ever had!

Love this office! Best Dental practice ever. Yes, it is casual but definitely not unprofessional. As a matter of fact, I believe it takes a true level of professionalism to make clients feel comfortable. EVERY member of the staff has always made me feel like my family and I were at home. We used to live close and even though we moved, we make the long drive just because this place is AMAZING!!

I just wanted a teeth cleaning. I got top braces from an orthodontist 12 years ago based on my natural bite and my teeth had just stopped moving this year. Andrea and her team said how weird my bite is and that my retainer was making my front teeth loose, so they suggested a night guard. They did not size it down when I got it during the fitting even though it caused a lot of pain and moved all of my front teeth, so it moved my teeth way too much! It completely changed my bite in a horrible way. I couldn't eat because it pushed my front teeth so far back that my front two bottom teeth were the only teeth touching other teeth when I bit down! When I went back, Andrea tried sanding it down, but no amount of sanding it made it stop pushing my teeth that much. I wore the night guard a total of three nights: the first time I got it, but then realized I couldn't eat the next day, then after the two standings. At the second appointment of sanding down the night guard, the scheduling staff told me "ya know, you can just get this adjusted when you get your teeth cleaned. You don't have to make separate appointments." I'm not stupid, I KNOW that! But at this point, I was tired of the stupidly and didn't go back. Andrea or someone else there has a stupid and clingy sister that hugged me on my first day there. She talked to me as if I knew her for years. I was really creeped out. Too much stupidity. Like I said, I only wanted a teeth cleaning. It's been months since that last appointment and now I have to wear my retainer everyday for 23-24 hours a day or my teeth will go crooked. (written April 2nd,2019, long after all this happened) Later, they eventually suggested a bottom night guard since I never had braces on my bottom teeth (why didn't they tell me this was an option in the first place?) saying that the top night guard looked like a science project gone wrong (duh! They totally forgot they created that. Them not remembering that they created it was another red flag.) After making the bottom night guard, the fit was much better and they didn't have to remake it or sand it down a ton like the first one. It was better, but it was still bulky and making my teeth sore. It's been well over a year and I have just had the unfortunate experience of leaving my retainer at work/didn't wear it to bed, and now I'm awake with a ton of pain and my teeth have moved a lot :( I fear I will have to wear my retainer for many years now. My bottom two teeth now touch the back of my front two teeth. No dentist has ever recommended a night guard for me before. I'll never go here ever again. (today's December 3rd, 2019) I don't think I ever got a cleaning with a water pik, like I asked for, and I don't think I ever got a thorough cleaning there. OH, and one time, the hygienist didn't even finish flossing my teeth because she talked to me about her life and cried the whole time, so I didn't get a cleaning at all! (This was the last straw.) Crazy people! I've never seen so much unprofessional behavior at a dentist office before!

I have used 4 different dental offices in the past 13 years. Dr. Andrea and Dr. Sookoo are the best. The hygienists are very patient and they get the job done professionally. The doctors are very nice and explain everything very clear to me and my family. They never recommend me to do anything that is not necessary. My daughter has cavities on the front tooth. Doctor told us that we just need to keep an eye on them as they will fall off very soon. No need to spend money to fill the cavities. In the past six years, I developed mouth ulcer a few times. Everyone I just called them and they did some patch on my ulcer and I did not feel any pain after that. The best thing is they did not change a dine. Unfortunately, we are moving and cannot stay with Dr. Andrea and Dr. Sookoo any more. I would love to stay with them for life if we can.

I have to give the entire staff at Andrea Folatko's DDS office a huge shout out of gratefulness! After a bad dental experience, I'm not the easiest dental patient. I have horrible anxiety. EVERYONE there is so kind, patient and understanding. Dr. Sookoo performed my procedure today and went very slow and assured me that we were working at my pace and not hers. I needed a break in between novocaine shots and she was so patient. I never thought I'd be able to say that when I'm their chair I almost forget I'm a patient. ( Key word is ALMOST )I never thought I'd be able to say that! I love everything about this place. The office is warm and inviting. You don't feel like you are an object on an assembly line. The care they give is very personal. The ladies at the front desk are cheerful and pleasant as well! It's obvious they all absolutely love what they do there! I'm so grateful to have found this office and maybe...just maybe I'll look forward to my next cleaning! If you are looking for a new dentist, Dr. Folatko's office is where you need to go!

I've never seen so much unprofessional behavior at a dentist office before. Andrea Folatko, yelled at us for asking for a refund for the mistreatment. It was a simple filling and been mistreated and I ended up getting root canal done due to the office's mistake. Her reasoning of yelling and screaming was her office did not mistreated, she is a good person and we are insulting her office. I did not say anything about her being a bad people or insulted her office. Simply asked for the money back for the mistreatment and I even had the support letter from other dentist stating it was this office fault. I still can't eat on that side and, now going to the dentist became an absolute nightmare for me. Been traumatized by this office. If you had a positive experience, I am happy for you. I don't want anyone to suffer from the pain. But for new patients who is considering visit to this office, please re-consider.
