Dr. Foix graduated from Creighton Dental School with a degree in Dental Surgery in 2001. Prior to attending Creighton, he attended Creighton Prep High School and the University of Nebraska-Omaha where he earned a B.S. in Biotechnology. Dr. Foix loves being a dentist, attending continuing education and expanding his skill set.
Dr. Foix treasures spending time with his wife Susan and their three children: Jack, Lily and Henry. He's been a fan of Nebraska college football (Go Big Red!!!) since his father took him to his first game at historic Memorial Stadium when he was 7 years old. Besides live sporting events, Dr. Foix loves to travel with his wife and family, fishing, loves reading and is a fan of Jimmy Buffett.
Dr. Foix is a member of the American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association and the Omaha District Dental Association. He has served as President of the Omaha Dental Society and as a Delegate to the NDA. Dr. Foix regularly provides dental care for patients through charitable organizations.
I have over 10 years of experience in the medical and dental field, been a member of the ODAS and ADAA and currently have my CDA,LDA for the state of Nebraska. I really enjoy working with Dr. Foix, the amazing staff and amazing patients at Shadow Lake Family and Cosmetic Dentistry because it feels like I'm working with family at family owned company that takes pride in the work they do and the high level of care we provide to our patients.
I graduated from IWCC in 2010 and have been working with Dr. Foix for the past 10 years! It has been great knowing and treating all the families in the office. When I'm not cleaning teeth I find joy in being home with my husband and our family. We enjoy hanging outside when possible and watching sports. #GoJimmie#GoLebron#GoSteelers/Falcons!!! I have been an assistant since 2010 and been with Dr. Foix since Dec 2017. I graduated from Vatterott and grew up in a military family but have lived in Bellevue since 1999. I have a great fianc and 3 children that are all girls! We love camping, four wheeling, and horse back riding. Football is life #GoTEXANS !
I have been a receptionist since 2013, and have a lot of experience I bring to Shadow Lake Family and Cosmetic Dentistry! I have one son who is my life. In our free time we love to be outside, going on bike rides and spending time with family!
I have been assisting Dr. Foix since May of 2019. I graduated from Metro Community college and have 30 years of dental assisting experience. I grew up in Omaha and enjoy spending time with my children and 3 grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy camping and being outdoors.
Betzy is our newest assistant. Dont let her size fool you, she's kind of a big deal. When Betzy is not in the office being an amazing assistant you can find her at home playing outside with her two boys or she might be on duty as she is in the National guard!

This is posted on half of my husband Tim who had two root canals. He reports that in spite of the complexity of the work done, the appointment went without problems. He says he has experienced no pain or discomfort. Dr. Foix is a great dentist.

I am so mad with this place. When we were there everything was nice, but then we had an issue with our bill and they refused to work with us. (Note that they only offer the most expensive fillings available, and don't give options for anything else, so watch your insurance. Ours didn't cover the more expensive filling, and as this was my first cavities, I didn't even know there WERE options.). I had to pay $200 up front for the procedure, and then got a bill later for another $200, all because of the type of filling they used. I asked my HR rep to look into it, and the only suggestion she had was to see if they would write it off since no choice was given, and no one mentioned the extra charge up front. They refused to work with us at all, though, so we won't be going back. Terrible customer service. It's a shame because up till now I really liked the place. Dentist and techs were all nice, but if they can't help out where it really counts, then it's not much of a "family" dentist. They were very upfront about the billing originally, too. They let me know "exactly" how much it would cost me with my insurance beforehand. But they just left out the other $200. How slimy, and underhanded! I feel cheated. So, I guess they'll get their $200, but it cost them what would have been two (working on three) lifetime customers. Bravo, Shadowlake Family Dentist. Way to fail at math and customer service. Edit since they replied EIGHT YEARS LATER: Way to miss the point. They said that they checked with my insurance before they quoted me the initial price. So, they either did that, or they didn't since my insurance did not cover what they said it would. But, even besides that point, when asked to be flexible and work with us since you'd mis-quoted by HALF the cost, or risk losing customers, you chose to lose customers. I can't imagine $200 was as big a hit to your company as it was to my family at that time. Thank goodness we're in a better spot now and have been happy with Capeheart Family Dentistry ever since leaving this place. Since it took 8 years to even offer this weak "Blame someone else" response, it's clear you guys haven't gotten any better at customer service. Weird since dentists are a dime a dozen in this town. You'd think you'd up your game.
