I was still in grade school when I first thought that I wanted to be an orthodontist because of the amazing changes that I experienced while in orthodontic treatment. Not only did my teeth straighten, but I experienced improved self-confidence. The field of orthodontics continues to improve, offering exciting new methods to change teeth alignment and allowing me to help others.
I completed dental school at University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1994 and attended the University of Iowa for my specialty education, completing my Masters in Orthodontics in 1996. Since moving to West Michigan, I welcome my team and patients into my office, am involved with the community and organized dentistry. Although not a native to West Michigan, it is my home where my husband and I enjoy raising our two children while taking part in Michigans outdoor activities.
Being an active member of the above organizations, achieving Diplomate Board Certification and continuing the education of myself and my team helps serve our patients and their families. Welcome to my orthodontic practice!
Dr. Salameh was born and raised in Southeast, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Dearborn prior to receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. After graduating dental school, Dr. Salameh completed a General Practice Residency at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Queens. She then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to practice general dentistry prior to pursuing a career in orthodontics. She completed a three-year specialty residency in Orthodontics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/ Montefiore Medical Center in New York and subsequently became a board-certifiedorthodontist. Board certification is the highest level of academicachievementan orthodontist can obtain and is an achievement held by only 1 in 3 Orthodontists!
Dr. Salameh is excited to be back in Michigan where she can help create beautiful and healthy smiles in her home state. She is honored to be a part of such a rewarding profession because it allows her to be a creative, critical thinker while building meaningful relationships with her patients. When not aligning teeth, she enjoys spending time with her husband and baby boy Jude, traveling, interior decorating, exercising and enjoying the great outdoors!
Each of our staff members is an expert in their area of service. They work as a team with Dr. Fogle and our patients to achieve the best clinical results possible while creating a caring experience. Each attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest techniques and clinical procedures available in orthodontics. Our office is also involved in charitable events benefiting our local community.
I was fortunate to join Dr. Fogles team in May 2008. It has been a great fit. My favorite part of my job is forming relationships with our patients and their families. Both my husband, Scott, and I have had orthodontic treatment with Dr. Fogle and love the results. I think my family is a perfect example of any age being a great age for orthodontic treatment!
When I'm not at the office, I can usually be found outside if the weather permits. I love to garden, swim, bike, and walk with my dog, Duke. I am a quilter, a reader, and I have a Pinterest list of things to do long enough for two more lifetimes. I have two adult children and a toddler granddaughter whom I adore and have a blast spoiling.
Life outside the practice includes spending time with my husband and two teen children which keep us busy with sports and school events. I am also involved in my church, enjoy gardening, swimming, sewing and fishing on our lake in the summer.
I have been dedicated to Dr. Fogles office since 2007. Working in the orthodontic field has been so rewarding. I have met some amazing people, and there's nothing like watching their smiles transform.
