Originally from the Youngstown, Ohio, area, Dr. Merwin is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and the University of Tennessee Department of Orthodontics. He holds a master's degree in Orthodontics and a Master of Science Degree in Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy. Dr. Merwin, a Board-Certified Orthodontist, is a member of local dental societies, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. He previously served as President of the Jackson Dental Study Club and continues to be involved with the University of Tennessee (Memphis) as an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics.
Dr. Merwins interests include sports, especially basketball and golf; computers; and 1970s music.As a huge supporter of children in the Jackson community, he coaches middle school basketball at St. Marys Catholic School and serves on the Board of Sacred Heart of Jesus High School. He is a member of St. Marys Catholic Church where he is Secretary of the Building and Grounds Committee. In his free time, you can find Dr. Merwin at the golf course, a Memphis Grizzlies Game or relaxing by the pool with his wife, Caroline, and his two boys, Nick and Alex.
Dr. Miller joined FMY Orthodontics in 2003. He is a Memphis native and a graduate of Washington and Lee University, the University of Tennessee Dental School, and the University of Tennessee Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Miller is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics and the Jackson Dental Study Club. He continues to be involved with the University of Tennessee (Memphis) as an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Miller enjoys all sports, especially golf, tennis and basketball.He is an accomplished pianist and enjoys reading. Dr. Millers wife, Allison, is an optometrist in Jackson. They have three children: Madeline, Preston and William.
Originally from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Dr. McCraw graduated from Murray State University, the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and the University of Tennessee Department of Orthodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics, Kentucky Dental Association and the Kentucky Association of Orthodontics.
Dr. McCraw and her husband, Randy, split their time between Jackson and Hopkinsville, where she also owns an orthodontic practice. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, horse riding and volunteering for Redemption Road Rescue in Jackson.
Originally from Milan, Tennessee, Dr. Buchner is a 2005 graduate of Murray State University and a 2010 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He then continued his post doctorate education at the University of Louisville, earning a specialty Certificate in Orthodontics in 2012. Dr. Buchner, a Board-Certified Orthodontist, is an active member in both the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics. He is the secretary of the Jackson Dental Study Club.
In his free time, Dr. Buchner enjoys playing golf, traveling, cooking, attending sporting events and spending time with friends and family. His wife, Dr. RiCha, is also a dentist in Jackson. They have three children, Curt, Anna Kate and Ben.
Originally from Greenville, Mississippi, Dr. Trammell joined FMY in 2015. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Mississippi, a 2012 graduate of the University of Tennessee Dental School and a 2015 graduate of the UT Orthodontic department. Dr. Trammell is a Board-Certified Orthodontist and an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. He is the president of the Jackson Dental Study Club and serves as a member of the UT College of Dentistry Alumni Board of Trustees.
Dr. Trammell enjoys playing golf, attending college sporting events, and spending time with his friends and family. His wife, Dr. Lauren Tucker Trammell, is also a dentist, practicing in Milan. They have three children: Aven, Tucker and Thomas.
