Dr. David Kim, DDS is from the North Seattle area. He attended and graduated from Bowdoin College with a degree in Biochemistry. While at Bowdoin, he took classes in drawing and sculpture, sharpening his manual dexterity for a career in dentistry. In 2008, he graduated from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry with honors.
Following dental school, he and his wife Sarah moved back to the Northwest to be close with their families. Their boys are busy with soccer, t-ball, Cub Scouts. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching movies, dining out, and cheering for Husky sports, the Mariners, and the Seahawks.
I have been working in dentistry since 2008 and have been a hygienist since 2012. I love what I do! One of my favorite parts of being a hygienist is getting to know patients and their families. It is important to me to provide my patients with high quality dental care in a positive comfortable environment. I love learning about advancements in the dental field and using my knowledge to help patients improve their dental health.
I have been in the field since 2005. I am what you call a military brat. Although I have lived in many different places, Guam is where I call home. I am married with 3 beautiful daughters and have 1 mamas boy with room to grow. I live to be with my family and love to make them happy! I am passionate about dentistry and will strive to give the best and most comfortable experience. I look forward to meeting you and playing a positive role in your oral health.
I started working for Dr Kim in September 2015 as his scheduling coordinator. I have been in dentistry for over 25 years. I have 2 boys who are grown and on their own, plus 2 big dogs that require constant attention. IN my spare time I enjoy hiking, water activities, crafts, and a good book.

I have had a few appointments with FME Dental and over those few appointments they have lost my confidence. They seem rather focused on how much money they can get out of me, rather than seeing to the health of my teeth and gums. Pushy assistants tried to strong arm me into getting a service that was not mandatory for health over several conversations. They did not offer any alternatives, even though there are alternatives to be had. They ignored an active infection for 5 months, and I have had to solve that issue on my own. In the end, the assistants called me to remind me of an appointment that I had set for the next day. I had to cancel that appointment and was charged $50.00 for only giving 24 hour notice, rather than 48 hours of notice. They seem very focused on money and not on the satisfaction and comfort of their clients. I wont be back.

Dr Kim and his staff are top notch, personal, professional and very reasonable. I have been a patient of Dr Kim's for the past 4 years while I have slowly had a mouth reconstruction. They have worked with me financially and held my hand emotionally. It's scary sometimes! I cannot recommend them enough. Especially to anyone that has not had regular dental care due to fear. Again- they will work with you financially if you have significant work to be done.

I go to Dr Kim to get my annual checkup with my wife every year. And I am currently getting Clear Correct (clear braces) procedure done as well. I can't wait to see the final results! His staff is very friendly and professional. Great small community family dentist.
