Dr. Floyd was born and raised in Albany, Oregon. Though he has always loved the Pacific Northwest, he decided to take a break from the rain and soak up the sun in Tempe, Arizona where attended Arizona State University. While the Arizona heat provided a nice temporary change, he couldnt stay away for too long. He decided to make his way back to Oregon to attend dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University.
For several years after dental school, Dr. Floyd practiced as a dentist, and while he greatly enjoyed general dentistry, it was during this time that he discovered a passion for orthodontics and decided to once again head back to school. This endeavor took him to St. Louis, Missouri where he met Dr. Lindsey in their orthodontic residency.
Dr. Lindsey was born and raised in the Midwest just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her dental education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and her orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University. The fall of 2016 brought a big and exciting change to her life when she moved across the country to the Pacific Northwest. She has Dr. Floyd to thank for encouraging her to make the move to this beautiful part of the country!
Dr. Lindsey knew she wanted to be an orthodontist at a young age when she had braces herself. She feels blessed everyday that her childhood dream could become a reality.She hopes that she can inspire other young people to strive after and achieve their dreams too!
Drs. Floyd love being active and enjoy spending time working out and participating in and watching sports of all kinds. But perhaps, one of their greatest passions outside of orthodontics and sports is their best doggie friend, Jaxon. They cant wait for you to meet Jaxon! Fair warning though, Jaxon doesnt actually know hes a dog, so dont tell him, and if you want, he will for sure want to be your best friend too!
Drs. Floyd both feel extremely blessed to be able to treat patients alongside one another and share in the journey of starting their practice together, and they are very excited about welcoming you into their practice family. They look forward to serving Molalla and the surrounding communities by bringing orthodontic care to you, and they cant wait to meet you and your family!

The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that children have an evaluation no later than age 7. Doing so positions children to be in a better situation when they are older, helps avoid extractions, and offers preventative care while kids are growing.

Dr Floyd is currently helping 3 of my children. He was thorough (he flagged a tongue issue that needs addressing through speech therapy in order for the braces to be a long term solution rather than a temporary fix,) and intentional with timing and sequencing of treatments. My kids love the staff, they are kind, patient and helpful.

I have taken my daughter to 3 other orthodontist. Each one was very different. At Floyd orthodontics they do a lot more detailed work. They have a 3D scanner for the teeth and you can easily see the problems in the mouth. Dr Floyd explains everything really well and easy to understand. I feel like they care more about patient care than money. I have a lot more positive things to say but i don't want to make this too long.

My sister and her family came to visit from Canada. My niece has braces and she was having trouble with one of the wires. We called and were given an appointment within an hour of calling. They saw her, fixed her issue and did not charge us anything. You are AWESOME, thank you for your kindness , it is much appreciated.

Both my daughters have braces from Floyd Family. I absolutely love the people here! My girls are a little dentist shy and have had no issues with braces! The family friendly atmosphere makes the experience that much better!

After being at a local dentist orthodontist combination for my children's entire life I was incredibly frustrated with the lack of proactive orthodontic work done for my kiddos. I kept giving it another six months and then another six months until my oldest who is almost 14 at the time mentioned some thing. I finally caved and found Floyd ortho and I am thrilled that I did. And I only did they immediately get my oldest and her younger sister in, they made the process incredibly easy, affordable and fun for the kiddos. They look forward to getting their bins changed and the girls are so patient while my daughters choose the perfect color combinations. I would highly recommend them to any of my family or friends. We are so happy we found them!

I'm so grateful to have been referred to Dr. Floyd and Dr. Lindsey. My experience with Floyd family orthodontics has been so amazing. Danielle at the front desk is so accommodating, and so friendly. Brittany and all the gals working as assistants are so hard working, gentle, thoughtful, and for-sure thorough. There hard work along with all the staff does not go unnoticed. We love Floyd Family Ortho! All of the staff are super friendly, including Jaxon the dog, who brings lots of joy to the office! :) Dr. Floyd always takes time to explain the treatment and answer any questions we have, and the prices for treatment are reasonable. When we come in, we are always taken back promptly. The office is clean and beautiful and has all the latest technology. We highly recommend Floyd Family Orthodontics!
