At Floyd Family Orthodontics, our primary focus is on attention to detail in designing the best possible smile for you, while minimizing your time in treatment. We believe your smile should be developed using a highly individualized treatment plan with your unique facial features and smile characteristics in mind.
We also share a collective passion for establishing meaningful relationships and providing value to the communities we serve. Our common desire is that every interaction with our family orthodontic practice will positively impact your day, your life, and the lives of your family. We make every effort to be open, honest, and to treat you and your family as if you are a part of ours.
'In todays society, the manner in which someone presents themselves is very important. Straight teeth and an excellent smile happen to play a tremendous role in how a person is perceived by others and how they feel about themselves.
Our family has been blessed with the ability and opportunity to straighten teeth well and serve others by developing beautiful smiles and we want to use this opportunity to bless the families that we encounter.
On a daily basis we are filled with joy because we get to spend our days using the gifts we have been given and feel blessed to have the opportunity to see the incredible impact that orthodontic treatment can have on a persons self-esteem and the manner in which they carry themselves.
Each day, we arrive at the office, our second home, excited about the opportunity to bless others by helping them achieve the smiles they deserve. Our desire is that, as a practice family, we can produce ripple effects of impact within our community and produce outcomes that are of much broader scale than just being excellent teeth straighteners and delivering the tremendous smiles that our patients deserve.'
We spend considerable time creating a customized treatment plan for you while considering both esthetic and functional factors so we can create your best smile. Why? Because youre unique and you deserve it!
We take great pride in helping patients build their confidence and in creating amazing smiles. We love that we get to participate in a process that can have such a profound impact in our patient’s lives
Dr. Floyd was born and raised in Albany, Oregon. Though he has always loved the Pacific Northwest, he decided to take a break from the rain and soak up the sun in Tempe, Arizona where attended Arizona State University. While the Arizona heat provided a nice temporary change, he couldnt stay away for too long. He decided to make his way back to Oregon to attend dental school at Oregon Health Sciences University.
For several years after dental school, Dr. Floyd practiced as a dentist, and while he greatly enjoyed general dentistry, it was during this time that he discovered a passion for orthodontics and decided to once again head back to school. This endeavor took him to St. Louis, Missouri where he met Dr. Lindsey in their orthodontic residency.
Dr. Lindsey was born and raised in the Midwest just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her dental education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and her orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University. The fall of 2016 brought a big and exciting change to her life when she moved across the country to the Pacific Northwest. She has Dr. Floyd to thank for encouraging her to make the move to this beautiful part of the country!
Dr. Lindsey knew she wanted to be an orthodontist at a young age when she had braces herself. She feels blessed everyday that her childhood dream could become a reality. She hopes that she can inspire other young people to strive after and achieve their dreams too!
Drs. Floyd love being active and enjoy spending time working out and participating in and watching sports of all kinds. But perhaps, one of their greatest passions outside of orthodontics and sports is their best doggie friend, Jaxon. They cant wait for you to meet Jaxon! Fair warning though, Jaxon doesnt actually know hes a dog, so dont tell him, and if you want, he will for sure want to be your best friend too!
Drs. Floyd both feel extremely blessed to be able to treat patients alongside one another and share in the journey of starting their practice together, and they are very excited about welcoming you into their practice family. They look forward to serving Molalla and the surrounding communities by bringing orthodontic care to you, and they cant wait to meet you and your family!
As a practice family, our desire is to produce ripple effects of impact within our community and produce outcomes in the lives of our patients that are on a much broader scale than just being excellent at straightening teeth.
Technology today offers a variety of options for orthodontics. Because every patient is unique, we want to get to know you before making recommendations and give you all the information you need to help you choose the best treatment approach.
The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that children have an evaluation no later than age 7. Doing so positions children to be in a better situation when they are older, helps avoid extractions, and offers preventative care while kids are growing.
