Dr. Marianela Cardenas received her Certificate in Orthodontics from Nova Southeastern University and her Masters Degree in Orthodontics from Universidad Intercontinental, Mexico City. She was also granted her dental degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela, Caracas.
Dr. Marianela Cardenas has over 20 years of experience in the field and has passed the written examination of the American Board of Orthodontics, the only specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association. Besides private practice she has been an Associate Professor in the Postgraduate Department of Orthodontics at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine since 2006.
She is an active member of the ADA, American Association of Orthodontists and South Florida Association of Orthodontists. On her free time Dr. Cardenas enjoys expending time with her husband and her three gracious children.

This is the worst place to ever go. PLEASE DONT NOT GO HERE. NO ONE SPEAKS englis. They don't change their gloves after every patient. The Ortho is SUPER NICE but she doesn't know what she's doing. A lost of money and time. THE WORST PLACE. YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER ORTH after she missing up your teeth.

RUN RUN RUN RUN. The dentist office is a joke. LOST TIME AND MONEY. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE WORK THEY ARE DOING. ORTHO only see you for less than 1min. DOESNT SPEAK English around English speaking patients. HAS NOT REGARD IN TIMING. Staff doesn't speak English and doesn't change or clean there gloves. I literally got sick after a blond lady didn't change her gloves. I watched her touch so many things with gloves on and than touch my mouth disgusting. I actually called the health Department. RUN RUN RUN RUN. If you want you time wasted go here.

The staff does answer the phone. I called for about an hour straight just to arrive at the office and the phone were on silent. I watch them ignore the calls. I wasn't seen the doctor claim she was leaving early. Which is fine but she ONLY SEE you for 2 mins. SO I don't understand why she couldn't when clearly I explain I had been calling calling. THE WORST PLACE EVER DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Dr. Cardenas is an excellent Orthodontist who runs a first class practice. Everything is beautiful, clean, organized and very professional. Also, she surrounds heself with a staff made up of amazing ladies. Every single one of them is kind and friendly, and make you feel like family. Love this orthodontist. All the staff are professional, friendly and very attentive. Dr. Cardenas is extremely knowledgeable and really does explain everything very well. The kids always feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. She gets excellent results quickly. I highly recommend her!
