Dr. Izzy is a gentle, caring dentist who uses only the most advanced materials and procedures available. He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each patient. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Izzy is a careful listener and will explain beforehand what treatment is best for your individual needs.

Dr. Izzy received his bachelor's degree & his doctorate from Wayne State University and the University of Detroit/Mercy Dental School. He has since taken many continuing education courses, including those in implants, difficult denture cases and complex restorative cases. He has advanced surgical training, receiving a diplomat status with the International Dental Implant Association as well as the American Dental Implant Association. Dr. Izzy is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the American Equilibration Society and the Academy of General Dentistry, he is also a fellow of the Illinois Dental Society.

Dr. Izzy is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine. Dr. Izzy helps treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy, an effective treatment that is covered by most insurance plans. AADSM membership provides Dr. Izzy with access to educational resources and practice management tools that help him better serve his patients by providing the highest quality of care in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Oweis was raised in a medical family (both her sisters are physicians) and while she wanted to be a part of this tradition, she also wanted to pursue her own path. Dentistry was her answer, and she soon discovered that orthodontics was her true passion. Dr. Oweis believes in the deep impact that beautiful smiles have on people! She also believes orthodontics is a journey in which she gets the chance to know her patients and be part of their lives, forming lasting relationships where she is able to take care of them not just as a doctor, but as a friend, a mom or a daughter.

Dr. Oweis provides orthodontic care to children, adolescents and adults. She uses a variety of orthodontic techniques and appliances including metal braces, cosmetic ceramic braces and clear aligner systems such as Invisalign.

Shortly after earning her advanced orthodontic specialty degree from the renowned orthodontic program at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry, Dr. Oweis was certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a certification held by only one third of orthodontists in the United States. She keeps her knowledge and skills up-to-date by regularly completing continuing education courses and training seminars. She applies these skills and techniques to deliver the best treatment outcome and the best possible smile for each individual patient.

We recently welcomed a new, friendly face to our office, Dr. Martha Silva. Dr. Silva has had a passion for dentistry since the age of 5. Knowing that she wanted to be a future dentist she made sure to learn as much as she could by taking dental assisting courses in high school and practicing as an orthodontic assistant in college. After college, she accomplished her dream of graduating from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

She had unique training right out of dental school serving as an active duty dentist with the U.S. Army. Her Army experience was unique in that it allowed her to serve our soldiers treatment needs in a group practice setting with other dental specialists who mentored her.

After exiting the Army, Dr. Silva moved back to Chicago where she practiced dentistry in Lakeview. Recently her family moved to the south side of Chicago where she decided it was time to find a closer dental office that would allow her to spend more time with her family and less time commuting. Dr. Silva is the mother of 2 girls and works well with children of all ages. She is friendly and full of good dental advice!

Dr. Silva is dedicated to learning about dentistry and staying informed about advances in technology and research. She was recently accepted into a 2 year program through the University of Florida School of Dentistry. She will be traveling once a month for the next 2 years to Florida in pursuit of her Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry. The program includes over 600 hours of advanced training and continuing education in all fields of dentistry.

Dr. Delones biggest priority is making sure that his patients feel comfortable in his care. He understands that some patients may have had less-than-pleasant experiences at other dental offices, and hes committed to earning his patients trust by prioritizing their needs and offering them exceptional dental care.

Dr. Delone studied dentistry at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Illinois. He had previously worked in other areas of healthcare, but he pursued dentistry because it gave him the opportunity to help people smile and feel their best. Dr. Delone happens to be a big smiler, always has been. Dentistry is his way of helping his patients find that same joy.

Originally from Detroit but now a resident of Chicagos West Loop, Dr. Delone loves trying out new restaurants in his neighborhood and throughout the city. Hes an avid video gamer, but he also loves a good workout. He speaks fluent Arabic and conversational Spanish (his Spanish-speaking colleagues are always teaching him new phrases). Someday hed like to visit Japan to see the cherry blossom trees bloom.
